Assam B.Sc. Nursing Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Assam B.Sc. Nursing Admission 2024 is given below.

Nativity

• Must be a citizen of India
• Must be a permanent resident of Assam.

Gender

• Only Female Candidates are eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• The age of a student should be between 17 to 24 years as on 31st December 2024. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for SC/ST candidates.

Educational Qualification

• Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Science or Equivalent Examination from a recognized Board/ Council with English as one of the subjects and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. 40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H) category without grace marks.

• First of all, you need to visit the official website of Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences i.e. www.ssuhs.in.
• On the official website, you will have to register by clicking on the official Assam B.Sc. Nursing application form link.
• Then, you will have to register by entering your basic information including Name, email address, and phone number. The login credentials will be sent to the email address of a candidate. So, Applicants should have a valid Email id.
• Next, aspirants can sign in by entering their username & password and fill the online application form.
• While filling the application form, candidates need to upload scanned photograph and signature.
• The sizes of scanned photograph and signature should not be greater than 35KB, 30KB respectively. The photograph and signature should be either in ‘.jpeg’ or ‘.jpg’ format.
• Remember, the photograph must show the name of the candidate as well as the date of photograph taken on a placard held by the candidate in front of the chest.
• After submitting the online application form, candidates have to pay the necessary examination fee.
• Finally, take a printout of the application form submitted and application fee payment confirmation and keep it safe for future references.

Note: The confirmation of the application fee payment will only be obtained after 24 working hours. Contact the exam conducting authority if the payment is not generated even after 24 working hours.

Application fee

• The Assam B.Sc. Nursing Application Fee for all candidates (except PwD) is Rs. 1200/-. The examination fee (application fee) is exempted for PwD (Divyang) category of candidates.

Mode of payment – All candidates need to pay the fee online using a payment gateway through a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

Note – An admit card will not be generated if fee payment is pending or not paid before the deadline.

• Authorities will release admit cards for candidates after screening their applications.
• The admit card will release online through the official website i.e. ssuhs.in
• To download the admit card, candidates will have to provide their application number and password which they received at the time of registration.

• No candidate will be allowed to take the examination without a valid admit card and one photo Id proof (in original).

  • If the tie continues then marks in Biology, then Chemistry, then Physics in qualifying examination shall be considered at the time of counseling
