Arunachal Pradesh ITI Admission 2023: Application Form, Important Date, Eligibility Criteria

The selection of candidates for admission to ITI institutes of Arunachal Pradesh is done on the basis of an admission test. Interested candidates who also meet the basic eligibility for admission can fill and submit their applications to appear for the test. The admission test is expected to be held in the month of May 2023/ June 2023. Training into ITI colleges begin from the month of August every year. Eligibility Criteria for Arunachal Pradesh ITI Admission 2023

The candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below to be eligible for the Arunachal Pradesh ITI Admission 2023:

Domicile:

  • Only permanent residents of the Arunachal Pradesh state are eligible to apply.
  • Dependant of Central & State Govt. employees and different Business/Pvt. Sector Enterprises inside Arunachal Pradesh are eligible too.

Age limit:

  • As on 1st July 2023, the minimum age of the candidates should not be less than 14 years.
  • There is no bar of upper age limit for admission in ITI.

Educational criteria:

Plumber 1 Year The candidates should have passed class 8th exam under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
Welder (Gas & Electric), Preservation of Fruits & Vegetables, Mechanic Diesel 1 Year Applicants should have cleared their class 10th exam under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
Carpenter 1 Year A pass in class 10th exam under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent with Science as one of the subjects is required.
Hair and Skin Care, Baker and Confectioner 1 Year Those who have passed the matriculation exam under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent are eligible.
Secretarial Practice 1 Year Candidates need to clear the Matriculation or class 10th exam with English as a cognate subject in order to be eligible.
Fashion Technology 1 Year A pass in class 12th exam under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent is required.
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant 1 Year Candidates who have passed class 12th exam under 10+2 system of education or have done 3-year Diploma in Engineering from any recognized polytechnic after class 10th can apply.
Wireman 2 Years Those who have cleared their class 8th exam under 10+2 system of education with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent are eligible to apply.
Fitter 2 Years The candidates should have cleared their class 10th exam under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Electrician 2 Years Applicants should have passed their class 10th exam under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent with Science as one of the subjects.
Draughtsman (Civil), Surveyor, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic (RAC) 2 Years A pass in class 10th exam under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent with Science & Mathematics as important subjects is required.
Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance 2 Years A pass in class 10th exam under 10+2 system of education with 60% marks in aggregate of Mathematics and Science is mandatory.

Those who have passed class 12th exam with Mathematics and Physics will be preferred.

Arunachal Pradesh ITI 2023 Application Form

Applications forms for Arunachal Pradesh ITI admission will be made available with all District Industries Centers (DICs) of Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed above can proceed with the filling of application.

  • In the application form, the candidates will be asked to provide their personal details like name, date of birth, gender, category, etc.
  • The candidates should also provide their academic details such as marks obtained, passing year, school name, etc into the application form.
  • Photograph of the candidates as well as signature should be provided into the form at the specified places.
  • Choice for ITI and trade should also be given at the time of filling the application form.
  • After providing the information as required in the application form, the candidates should check it carefully.
  • The duly-filled application form can then be submitted along with attested copies of the important documents to the JDIs/ DDIs/ ADIs of the concerned district.

Application fee:

  • The candidates need to pay an amount of Rs. 50/- to purchase their application form.

The candidates must enclose attested copies of the following documents with the application form for ITI admission:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Place of Domicile
  • Caste Certificate in case of ST/SC issued by competent authority
  • Mark sheet of the examination passed and conduct certificate from the Head of the School/ Institution last studied
  • Attested true copy of School Leaving Certificate
  • Certificate from any recognized Medical Officer stating that the applicant is physically fit to undergo practical training along with the attested specimen signature of the trainee/ applicant before the Doctor in the medical fitness certificate form itself
  • 2 nos. of passport size photographs of the applicant duly attested

Arunachal Pradesh ITI 2023 Admit Card

  • The admit card for Arunachal Pradesh ITI 2023 will be made available for the candidates whose submit their applications in time.
  • Applicants will be able to obtain their admit card from the office where they submit their application form.
  • Admit card along with a valid photo identity proof must be carried by the candidates reporting to the exam center on the day of exam.
  • No candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam without these documents under any circumstances.
  • The admit card should be preserved by the candidates till the whole admission process is over.

  • The result of the ITI admission test will be declared online on the official website of the Department of Industries.
  • Candidates will be able to check their result from the official website using their roll number.
  • A merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of their marks obtained in the admission test.
  • Candidates who clear the test will be invited to attend the counseling round as per their names in the merit list.

Is there any stipend for the candidates admitted to the Arunachal Pradesh ITI colleges?

A stipend of Rs. 550/- per month will be given to the selected trainee subject to Govt. order for continuance of Stipend. Stipend will be discontinued if desired progress of the trainee is not shown or the trainee remains absent from the classes.

How can I get a refund on the submitted application fee?

It is not possible to get a refund on the application fee after its submission. Candidates are advised not to make any request in this regard.

Can I get my admit card through post?

You must obtain your admit card from the office where you submitted your application. No admit card will be sent to you via post.

What is the fee structure of the Arunachal Pradesh ITI colleges?

Free training is given to the ST candidates of Arunachal Pradesh. For Non-APST trainee, an amount of Rs. 20/- per month will be charged as tuition fee in addition to the fee structure as given under:

  • Library (Caution money): Rs. 250/-
  • Institute (Caution money): Rs. 250/-
  • Hostel (Caution money): Rs. 500/- (For Hosteller only)
  • Registration Fee: Rs. 10/-
  • Examination fee (per semester): Rs. 200/-
  • Total: Rs. 1210/-

Note: The caution money will be refundable after the completion of the course.

What if I fail to secure admission in the allotted ITI within the given time period?

In such case your candidature will be cancelled and you will forfeit your seat. No request in this regard will be entertained.
