AP LAWCET Exam Pattern 2021: No. of Questions, Marking Scheme

In this post, I’m elaborating here details regarding exam pattern of AP LAWCET. Along with that, I’m also furnishing below important instructions candidates need to keep in mind during the exam. Having knowledge of exam pattern will help you to prepare for the exam in a better way. So, if you are appearing in AP LAWCET in the year 2021 then the instruction mentioned in this post will help you to make an efficient preparation of the exam.

We have provided the instruction according to previous year AP LAWCET exam notification and are subject to change as per the instruction booklet for the year 2021.

AP LAWCET Exam Pattern 2021

  • The exam is conducted to access the candidates’ mental ability, general knowledge, and depth in current affairs and aptitude.
  • There will be three parts in the test consisting of 120 questions.
  • Candidates will have to solve the question paper in 90 minutes.
  • 30 questions will be asked from General Knowledge and Mental Ability, 60 from Aptitude for the Study of Law and rest 30 from current affairs.
  • Type of questions will be multiple choice types only.
  • Every question will contain four alternatives; candidates need to pick the right one.
  • No negative marking rule will be applicable for the wrong answer.
  • The question paper will be available in English as well as in the Telugu language.
  • All candidates have to score 35 marks (i.e. 42 marks out of total 120 marks) in order to qualify the test.

Important Instructions for Exam

  • It is essentially required to bring hall ticket while coming to the examination centre. If you do not have your admit card then you’d be restricted from appearing in the test.
  • Candidates need to carry Ball Point Pen (Blue or Black) in the examination hall.
  • Candidates will not be permitted to enter into the examination hall after 10 a.m.
  • Candidates won’t be permitted to leave the examination hall before completion of the test.
  • Candidates are advised not to fold, wrinkle, or tear OMR response seat.
  • Under no circumstances, candidates will be provided with another OMR response sheet.
