Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada is responsible for organizing AP ECET every year on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test abbreviated as AP ECET is a state-level entrance exam.
The exam is conducted for Diploma holders in the fields of Engineering Technology/ Pharmacy, and B.Sc Graduates who are seeking admission in the BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharmacy courses through lateral entry. AP ECET Eligibility Criteria 2024
Aspirants should satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The details regarding AP ECET eligibility criteria are as follows:
Only Indian nationals from the state of Andhra Pradesh are eligible to apply.
Candidates must satisfy the local/ non-local status of the AP government.
Educational Qualification
The applicants who have a Diploma in B.Tech/ Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh State or any other Diploma recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh will be eligible to apply.
Candidates should have cleared the 3-year B.Sc Degree examination with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized University or its equivalent with no less than 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category) for entry into relevant courses.
The candidates who are pursuing a Diploma course in the relevant field are also eligible to apply.
AP ECET Application Form
The authority will release the application form in March 2024 through online mode only. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill out the application form by visiting the official website of AP ECET.
The application process includes various stages like eligibility and fee payment, checking fee payment status, fill the application form, print a hard copy of the submitted application form.
To complete the application process, candidates first open the official website link and then submit the required amount of fee.
Thereafter, provide the basic details like name, contact number, email id, etc. to register for the entrance exam.

AP ECET Syllabus 2024
Candidates must go through the syllabus before starting their exam preparation. The authority will release the AP ECET syllabus in PDF format on the official website along with the information bulletin. AP ECET 2024 Admit Card
The authority will release the admit card most likely in April 2024. The AP ECET Hall ticket will be available in online mode only. It will not be sent to any candidate via post or other offline modes. Candidates who registered for the exam will be able to download the admit card by using their login credentials.
AP ECET Admit card is an important document to carry at the examination centre on exam day. The authority will not allow any candidate to sit in the exam without a valid admit card and photo id proof. Candidates should keep the admit card safe for future use.
AP ECET Answer key 2024
The conducting body will publish the answer key through online mode only most likely in May 2024. With the help of the answer key candidates will be able to check the answers of all questions asked in the AP ECET exam and also be able to calculate their estimated score in the exam.
In case of an issue with the answer key, candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the answer key within a specified time. After considering all the objections a final answer key will be published by the officials.
AP ECET 2024 Result
It is expected that the authority will announce the AP ECET result through online mode. The result will be made available in June 2024 on the official website. Candidates who appeared in the exam will be able to check the result by logging in using their registration number, password, and date of birth.
The result will be declared in pdf format. It consists of details like the candidate’s score, rank, percentile, and qualifying status. A separate merit list will also be published by the authority based on the candidate’s overall performance in the exam.
AP ECET Rank Card
After the announcement of the result, APSCHE will release the AP ECET 2024 rank card on its official website. With the rank card, candidates will be able to know their integrated rank. To check or download the rank card, candidates need to visit the official link and provide their login credentials.
The AP ECET rank card will include the details like the candidate’s name, branch rank, date of birth, hall ticket number, address, branch, category, total marks secured in the exam, subject-wise marks scored, and integrated rank.
AP ECET Counselling
The selected candidates will be called for counselling as per their merit rank. The process of counselling will be held in online mode. It will include many stages like online registration, fee payment, choice filling, certificate verification, and seat allotment.
The final admission will be based on the candidate’s overall score, course preference, and seat availability. In case of seats remains vacant after the counselling, a spot round will be held by the authority. The seat allotment result will be announced online.
