Anna University Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates must satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying for admission. The eligibility criteria may vary for different courses. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for the most sought-after courses of the university from the table below.
Eligibility Requirements for UG Courses
|B.Tech courses||Candidates must have passed 12th with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ SCA) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Candidates who have completed 8th to 12th level examination outside Tamil Nadu state will need to submit an original Nativity Certificate in digitally signed e-certificate/ electronic form. Candidates should hold a valid TNEA score to apply for admission to UG engineering courses.|
|Other UG Courses||Candidates must have done the 12th examination with no less than 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST candidates) from a recognized board. Candidates must be Indian citizens/ CIWGC/ NRI or Foreign nationals will be eligible to apply. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will be eligible to apply for the admission process.|
For PG Courses
|MCA courses||Candidates must have done a three- year duration BCA/ B.Sc (Computer Science/Information Technology/or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks with Mathematics at 10+2 level. Anna University Admission 2024 Application Form
Candidates seeking admission to Anna University are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the admission process. The authority will release the application form separately for different courses. The application form will be available in online mode only.
It is expected that the application form for Anna University UG admission will be available in June 2024. For PG admission, the authority will release the application form in February 2024.

Anna University Syllabus 2024
The syllabus will be varied for different courses offered by Anna University. For UG-level courses, the syllabus will be based on the topics covered in the 12th-level examination. The syllabus for PG courses will include the subjects taught at the graduation level. The authority will publish the course-wise syllabus on its official website after the release of admission notification.
Anna University 2024 Admit Card
The authority will issue the admit card separately for different courses. The hall ticket for PG courses is expected to be released in March 2024. Candidates who completed the registration process will be able to download the admit card from the official website of Anna University by entering their login credentials.
Admit card is an important document to carry at the examination centre. It will include important details related to the exam such as the date and time of the exam, candidate’s name, examination venue, roll number, etc. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam without a valid admit card.
Anna University Result 2024
The result for PG courses is expected to be announced in April 2024. Candidates will be able to check their results online by entering their registration number and date of birth. Anna University Counselling 2024
The process of Anna University counselling will be commenced tentatively in August 2024. The candidates who qualify for the entrance exam will be considered eligible to appear in the counselling process. The qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling process to get admission to the Anna University
The counselling process will be conducted in various rounds such as online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, etc. Seats will be allotted among the candidates based on their scores obtained in the entrance exam. After the seat allotment, candidates must report at the allotted institute along with the required document for the verification process.
