AJEE 2023: AISECT Joint Entrance Exam

The AISECT Joint Entrance Exam (AJEE) is an all India common entrance exam conducted for providing the selected candidates admission into engineering, management, laws, agriculture, and many other courses. The candidates who clear their AJEE 2023 will be considered for admissions into AISECT Group of Universities in Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and MP.

The candidates who wish to appear for this exam will have to submit their applications first. It is also important that the candidates make sure of their eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. AJEE Eligibility Criteria 2023

The course-wise eligibility criteria for AJEE 2023 are given below:

  • Bachelor of Engineering: The candidates should have passed their class 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics and at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).
  • Diploma in Engineering: The candidates should have passed their class 10th exam with at least 35% marks.
  • Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Physical Education: A bachelors or masters degree with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) is required.
  • Master of Education: B.Ed with 55% marks or D.Ed with B.Sc 1st division is required.
  • Master’s of Business Management: Any bachelors degree, with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates), is required
  • BA LLB: Those who have passed their class 12th or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) are eligible.
  • LLB: A graduation degree with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) is required.
  • LLM: Those with an LLB degree with at least 55% marks are eligible.
  • B.Sc Agriculture: A pass in class 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology or in Agricultural subjects is required.
  • B.Sc Nursing or BPT: the candidates should have passed their class 12th exam with 45% minimum marks and Biology as a subject.

Note: The candidates appearing in the final year of their qualifying exam in the year of admission are also eligible.

AJEE 2023 Application Form

The process of registration for AJEE will be completely online. The application form will be released in online mode and the duly filled application form should also be submitted online. The candidates will have to provide their personal details (name, date of birth, gender, email id, contact number, etc) and educational details (qualifying exam, year of passing, marks obtained, etc) and upload scanned photograph into the application form. The center and mode of the exam should also be selected at the time of application form filling. After providing all the important details asked in the application, the candidates can make final form submission. An application fee of Rs. 500/- should also be submitted along with the application form.

Exam Pattern

The basic exam pattern for AJEE 2023 is given as:

  • Mode of exam: Both online and offline

  • Exam duration: 2 hours
  • Type of questions: Objective type
  • Marking scheme: No negative marking
  • Subjects involved: The subjects from which the questions will be asked will depend on the examination.

AJEE Syllabus 2023

The syllabus for the AJEE 2023 will depend on the course for which the entrance exam will be conducted. The syllabus for some of the courses under the AJEE entrance exam is given as:

  • Engineering: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • LLB: English, Mathematics, Legal Aptitude, Logical reasoning, General Knowledge and current Affairs
  • MBA: Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English and General Knowledge
  • Ed: General Mental Ability, General Awareness and Teaching Aptitude

How to Prepare?

Irrespective of their course, the candidates can follow these basic preparation strategies in order to get a good ranking in AJEE 2023:

  1. Make a strong foundation by clearing your basic concepts.
  2. Study in a systematic manner. It is not necessary to study for continuous 9 or 10 hours but it is necessary that you study with full concentration.
  3. Maintain distance from anything and everything that distracts you from your studies.
  4. Study according to a time table. In this way, you can finish your whole syllabus in time.
  5. Know your weak areas and give more time to them. Practice can help you in finding your strong and weak points.

AJEE 2023 Admit Card

All those candidates who have registered successfully will receive their admit card. The admit card will be sent to the registered email id of the candidate around 1 week before the day of exam. The candidate should take a printout of their admit card and carry it to the exam center. The candidates will not be allowed to take their exam without the admit card.

AJEE Result 2023

AJEE 2023 result will be announced in the last week of May 2023 (tentatively). The candidates can check their result from the official website ajee.aisectonline.com. On the basis of performance in the exam, a merit list will be prepared and uploaded on the official website. The candidates will then be called for counseling as per their ranks in the merit list.

AJEE 2023 Counseling

The candidates will be allowed to select the course and college of their choice during the counseling. At the time of counseling, document verification will also be done. Therefore, the candidates are advised to carry all the original certificates along with them to the counseling venue. As per the candidates rank, their opted choice and fulfillment of eligibility and other criteria, seat allotment will be done.
