AIMA RMAT 2021: Application Form, Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Exam Date

AIMA RMAT 2021: All India Management Association (AIMA) in association with Aligarh Muslim University will conduct Research Management Aptitude Test 2021 (RMAT 2021). It is a computer-based test (CBT) to be conducted online in June 2021.

AIMA RMAT 2021 will offer a Ph.D. in Business Administration. An applicant requires a prior work experience in order to apply for this exam. Details such as application form, exam pattern, admit card is provided in this article.

AIMA RMAT 2021 Application Form: How to apply?

1. The online Application form will be made available on the official website of AIMA from May 2021.
2. Candidates need to fill in their academic and professional qualification on the application form.
3. Furnishing of details should be done very carefully because no editing will be allowed after submitting application forms.
4. Always remember to take a print out of duly filled application form for future references.

Eligibility Criteria

An applicant will be allowed to apply in AIMA RMAT 2021 for a Ph.D. in Business administration if he fulfills the following criteria.

1. Candidate needs a Master’s Degree in management or any of the allied subjects like science, engineering, humanities, commerce, and Law etc. or an AICTE approved PGDM/PGDITM of 2 years duration with at least 50 % marks or chartered Accountancy, cost accountancy or any other professional degree equivalent to Master’s is also eligible.
2. Candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% marks in Graduation.
3. Full-time work experience of at 5 years at a Managerial level in Govt. Ministry/Industry/Defense/NGO/Military organization is also required or a full-time faculty of management institute that is approved by AICTE with 5 years of experience can also apply.

AIMA RMAT 2021 Exam Pattern

After screening the candidates in the written exam, authorities will conduct an interview of shortlisted candidates.

Exam Centres

AIMA RMAT 2021 will be conducted at Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai on the same day. Interview of Shortlist candidates will be held at AIMA, New Delhi.

Admit Card

AIMA RMAT 2021 Admit card can be downloaded from the official website of AIMA before the date of exam. A photo identity proof along with the hard copy of admits card will be required at the exam venue. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without an admit card

AIMA RMAT 2021 Syllabus 

The entrance examination will comprise of two parts. Syllabus for both parts i.e. Part -A & Part B is provided below:

Part A: Basics of Management: Managerial skills and levels; Functions of managers in business organizations; Meaning Power and authority; Fundamentals of human resource management- recruitment -selection, training and appraisal; Functions of human resource managers; Functions of marketing managers; Functions of finance managers; Inventory costs and simple models; Concepts and components of marketing mix; Indian financial systems; Balance sheet and its components; Basic accounting concepts; Globalization of business; Statistical quality control techniques; Functions of operations managers; Elements of business environment

Part B – Research Fundamentals and Aptitude: Steps in research; Primary and secondary data; Types and properties of the 4 types of scales used for data collection; Decisional and research problems; Overview of higher education system in India; Population and sample; Methods of data collection; Types of sampling methods; Data interpretation; Types of variables; Research and teaching aptitude; Logical reasoning; Research ethics;

AIMA RMAT Result 2021

Research Management Aptitude test 2021 result will be declared on the official website of AIMA. Document verification and face to face sessions with regular counseling be experts will start after the declaration of result. Personal counseling session will be provided in AIMA, New Delhi.

Selection Process

The eligible candidates will be shortlisted through a written test Research Management Aptitude Test (R-MAT) followed by an Interview at AIMA, New Delhi for RMAT admission process.
