What is NORCET Exam: AIIMS NORCET 2023 stands for All India Institute of Medical Science Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test. The examination is conducted to select candidates for the recruitment of Nursing Officer Posts. Those eligible candidates who want to apply will have to submit an online application form before the last date. The examination will be conducted in online mode only. NORCET 2023 eligibility criteria are given below. Please note that candidates must meet all these criteria before applying.

Age Limit

• The age of a candidate should be between 18 to 30 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to candidates from reserved categories.
  • SC/ ST – 5 years
  • OBC – 3 years
  • PWBD – 10 years subject to the condition that maximum age of the applicant on the crucial date shall not exceed 56 years.
  • PWBD + OBC – 13 years subject to the condition that maximum age of the applicant on the crucial date shall not exceed 56 years.
  • PWBD + SC/ ST – 15 years subjected to the condition that maximum age of the applicant on the crucial date shall not exceed 56 years.
  • Ex-Servicemen and commissioned officers including ECO/ SSCOs – 5 years

Essential Qualification

1. Candidates should have passed B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University. Or B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized institute/ University.
2. Registered as Nurses & Midwife with state/ Indian Nursing Council

Or

1. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized Institute/ Board or Council.
2. Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State/ Indian Nursing Council.
3. Two years’ experience in a minimum 50 bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above as applicable for all participating AIIMS.

AIIMS NORCET 2023 Application Form

Those aspiring candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria in all aspects can submit NORCET 2023 application form in online mode only. The application process takes place through the official AIIMS website i.e. www.aiimsexams.ac.in. Given below are the steps that you may follow in order to apply.

• First of all, you need to visit the official website of AIIMS NORCET i.e. https://norcet5.aiimsexams.ac.in/.
• On the official website, you will have to register by providing a few of your details.
• At the time of registration, you need to enter details such as name, phone number, email address, etc.
• The login credentials will also be generated after registration.
• Next, you will have to sign and access the main application form.
• In the main application form, you need to provide your complete academic, personal, and contact details.
• It is necessary for candidates to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature.
• The details entered in the application form should be accurate. Otherwise, the same can get rejected.
• Along with the form, it is necessary for candidates to pay the required application fee.
• Take a printout of the application form submitted and keep it safe for future requirements.

AIIMS NORCET 2023 Admit Card

• AIIMS NORCET 2023 admit card will release online through the official website of AIIMS.
• To download the admit card, candidates will have to provide their registration details.
• In the admit card, information about the date, time, and venue of the examination is mentioned.
• No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
• Along with the admit card, candidates must carry their original photo ID proof at the time of examination.

• The result of AIIMS NORCET 2023 exam will release online through the official website of the institute.
• To check the result, aspirants have to visit the official website and provide their registration details.
• The details about the marks secured by candidates in the test will be mentioned on the result card.
• Those candidates who will score more marks in the test will get better ranks.
• In case of a tie, candidates will get a better rank in the following manner.
  • First by using the date of birth with older candidates get a better rank.
  • If not resolved by date of birth, candidates will get a better rank by the number of wrong answers/ negative marks will be used wherein those with fewer wrong answers/ negative marks will be placed higher.
