AIIMS M.Sc. Admission 2021: Application form, Eligibility criteria

AIIMS M.Sc. Admission 2021: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi is going to invite applications from interested and eligible candidates for admission to post graduate Master of Science (M.Sc) courses for the academic year 2021-2022.

The candidates who are interested may apply for AIIMS PG admission as per the schedule date. The application form of AIIMS M.Sc Admission will available probably in the month of March 2021.   • M.Sc. in Anatomy, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Perfusion Technology, Physiology, Nuclear Medicine Technology and Reproductive Biology and Clinical Embryology
  • M.Sc Biotechnology
  • M.Sc. Nursing in  Oncological Nursing, Cardiological / CTVS Nursing, Neurosciences Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Nephrological Nursing,  Psychiatric Nursing, Paediatric Nursing

Eligibility Criteria

For M.Sc /M. Biotechnology:

Candidates should have done MBBS/BDS/ B.V.Sc. B. Pharmacy /Bachelor of Physio-therapy or B.Sc. degree with minimum of 60% marks (55% marks in case of candidates from SC/ST category).

For M.Sc. Nursing:

  • Candidates should have done B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing /B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate)/ B.Sc. Nursing (four years) course from any recognized university with scoring no less than 60% marks (55% marks in case of candidates from SC/ST category).
  • The minimum age limit of candidate should be 21 years as of the admission year.

Application Form

Aspirants who want to appear in the AIIMS M.Sc Entrance Examination should fill and submit their application online as per the prescribed format. The AIIMS M.Sc admission 2021 application form will available online only from the official website of AIIMS i.e. www.aiimsexams.org.

For successful registration candidates need to pay an applicable fee which is non-refundable and non-transferable under any situations.  We suggest candidates to go through the prospectus carefully and check all the necessary conditions before filling in online application form.

Application fee:

  • 1000/- for candidates from General / Unreserved (UR)/OBC category
  • 800/-for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
  • There will be no fee for candidates from Orthopedic / Physically Handicapped (OPH)

Payment mode

Candidates can make the payment of said fee through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.

Admit card

The conducting body will issue the AIIMS M.Sc Admit card probably from June 2021 onwards. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website i.e. www.aiimsexams.org. All applicants should bring their admit card along with an identity proof while appearing in the exam center on the day of entrance exam. The admit card of AIIMS M.Sc entrance exam will contain the important details like candidate’s name, address of the venue, venue of the centre etc. Candidates will not be allowed to enter in the exam hall without a valid admit card.

Result

The result of AIIMS M.Sc entrance exam may be announced in June 2021. The authority will declare the result online only on its official website. Candidates can view or download their result of AIIMS M.Sc admission by visiting the website link after the official announcement.

Reservation criteria

There will be a reservation policy in AIIMS New Delhi and other 6 AIIMS institutes as follows:

  • For Other Backward Classes (OBC) category -27 %
  • For Schedule Caste (SC) Category- 15 %
  • For Schedule Tribe (ST) Category- 7.5 %
  • For Physically Handicapped Indian citizens – 3 %

Counselling

The process of counselling will be organized as per schedule prescribed by AIIMS Examination authority. The counseling will be done strictly on the basis of candidates rank obtained in the combined merit list. Seats will be allotted as per candidate’s marks, choice of programme/institute and availability of seats.
