Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying AIIMS B.Sc admission 2021. Following are the details of AIIMS B.Sc admission 2021 eligibility criteria

For B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing, B.Sc. (H) Medical Technology in Radiography and Bachelor in Optometry programmes:

  • Only Indian citizen can apply.
  • The candidate’s minimum age limit should be 17 years as on the year of admission (Applicants born or after second January, 2005 are not considered eligible to apply)
  • For B.Sc (Hons) Nursing programme, applicant should have done 12th class examination under the 10+2 pattern or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State. They must obtained at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories)
  • Aspirants who are seeking admission to Bachelor of Optometry & B.Sc (Hons) Medical Technology in Radiography programmes must have done 10+2 or equivalent examination scoring with Physics, Chemistry, English and either Mathematics or Biology. They must obtained at least 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories)
  • Appearing candidates or those waiting the results of qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. However, such applicants should produce their proof of passing the qualifying examination with minimum required marks and subjects during counselling failing which their application will be rejected.

Note: For B.Sc (Hons) Nursing programme, only female applicants can apply.

Eligibility for B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic):

  • Aspirants should have done 12th class under 10+2 system of education or an equivalent examination with minimum qualifying exam from a recognized Board/University.
  • Candidates holding diploma in General nursing and Midwifery from any institution recognized by the INC (Indian Nursing Council) are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants should be a registered nurse, registered midwife with any State Nursing Council.
  • In case of male nurses, beside being registered as a nurse with the State Nursing Council, they must possess a certificate in General Nursing and rather than Training in Midwifery, training in any of the following subject, for a minimum period of 6 months:
  • Ophthalmic Nursing, O.T. Techniques, Leprosy Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, TB Nursing, Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing, Cancer Nursing, Community Health Nursing, iOrthopaedic Nursing.

AIIMS B.Sc Admission 2021 Application Form: How to apply?

Application Form of AIIMS B.Sc Admission will available online on the official website i.e. www.aiimsexams.org. Aspiring candidates who are also eligible should fill and submit their online application before the due date. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully before applying.

How to apply?

AIIMS B.Sc Admission application process involves following steps:

Step 1: Registration:

First of all, candidates should register themselves by providing some basic details such as candidate’s Name, DOB, Email id, Gender, Category, and mobile no. etc

After completing the registration process successfully, candidates will receive SMS and Email which comprises the Login Credentials. Save these login credentials as it will be used while accessing the application form.

Step 2: Fill the application form

Candidates should fill the mandatory like academic qualification & contact address details very carefully and correctly.

Step 3: Payment of application fee

Candidate should pay the requisite registration through online mode using Credit card/ Debit card and Net Banking.

After successful payment of registration fee, candidate should take printout of payment receipt containing Unique Registration Number which can be used for future reference.

Step 4:  Select exam city

At this stage, candidates have to choose their Examination City from given City list carefully. The available list of exam city will represent the real-time status of seats in a city. Candidates should note that, city once selected cannot be changed afterward.

Step 5: Upload scanned images

Candidates have to upload recently taken digital/scanned images of photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression in JPG/ JPEG format with the given specifications.

Step 6: Print registration form

Candidates should take print of registration form and confirm that the information filled in the application form is correct before final submission of registration form. Once the form is submitted no request for correction/changes will be entertained. Candidate should take the print of Registration Slip and application form for future reference.

There is no need to send hardcopy of registration Form or any other document to examination authority.

Selection Process

Admission to AIIMS B.Sc courses will be made entirely on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Entrance Examination to be organized in Delhi/ NCR. According to decision of the Academic Committee in its satisfying the minimum cut-off will be 50% (for all Post Graduate Courses) in the competitive entrance exam as a condition of eligibility for all applicants.
