About the college
Founded in the year 1823, Agra College is one of the oldest and reputed educational institutions of Uttar Pradesh. It was started by the famous Sanskrit scholar Late Pandit Gangadhar Shastri. Agra College produced the first graduate in the state of Uttar Pradesh and the 1st Law graduate to Northern India. The college is approved by the AICE and MHRD, New Delhi and affiliated to D. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra. The college is recognized by State Government of UP and the UP Board of Technical Education.
