IGNOU CETE 2022 (Certificate in Elementary Teacher Education): How to Apply, Fee, Eligibility

IGNOU Certificate Courses (School of Education) 2022: The School of Education (SOE) of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers the Certificate Courses in two different disciplines. Candidates can take admission in the SOE to pursue the courses viz., ‘Certificate in Elementary Teacher Education (CETE) and Certificate in Guidance (CIG) programmes. The ‘Certificate in Elementary Teacher Education (CETE) has been designed for the Tripura State only.

Eligibility Criteria

There are some set of rules under the eligibility criteria which candidates must fulfill before they apply for admission as according to the information given in the following table and points given below:

The details of the eligibility criteria have been given in the following points:

• Candidates applying for admission in the ‘Certificate in Elementary Teacher Education’ (for Tripura State) (CETE) course must be in-service teachers.
• They must have taught the students at the elementary level.
• They must have completed the graduation as well.
• Any candidate, who has passed the higher secondary education or BPP from a recognized institute, can apply for admission to pursue the Certificate in Guidance (CIG).

Fee Details

The fee details of the Certificate Courses have been given in the following points:

• Candidates will be required to pay the admission fee in order to complete the admission process.
• Candidates can pay the admission fee via Demand Draft (DD).
• The Demand Draftmust be drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at the IGNOU’s Regional Centre.

How to apply for Admission?

• All the eligible aspirants need to fill the application/admission form either through the online mode or offline mode.
• Candidates need to fill in all the details in the application form as asked.
• The online application form will be available on the official website of IGNOU.
• Candidates can get the hard copy of the application form to be submitted offline from the regional IGNOU centre.
• Candidates need to submit the duly filled application form either through the online mode or through the offline mode at the respective regional centre of IGNOU.
