Only candidates, who satisfy the following listed terms & conditions, can apply for UCEED. We are elaborating below nationality, age, and educational criteria for appearing in UCEED, please have look.

All the criteria suggested below are must be fulfilled by the aspirants willing to take UCEED exam. Candidates, who are not meeting the suggested criteria, they can apply for the exam.

Nationality Criteria

• Aspirants who are not residents of India either by birth or naturalization will be assumed under the foreign nationals category.
• Foreign nationals have to satisfy all eligibility conditions as prescribed by IIT Bombay. For more info, we advise aspirants to visit the IIT Bombay International Relations Office webpage i.e. http://www.ir.iitb.ac.in/.
• Allotted seats to foreign nationals are supernumerary but appearing in UCEED is essential for admission. The total number of availability of supernumerary seats will be published at the time of allocation of the seat.

Age Limitation

The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1995 if belonging to the OPEN or OBC-NCL category and, on or after October 1, 1990 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.

Number of Attempts

Candidates are allowed to appear for UCEED maximum two times in consecutive years. Please keep in mind your UCEED score will be valid for only one year.

Educational Qualification

• Aspirants should have cleared the qualifying exam i.e. class XII or its equivalent in the year 2021. Those are appearing in the final year exam in the year 2021 are also permitted to apply.
• Candidates, who have appeared in the qualifying exam either in 2020 or earlier, are not permitted to apply.
