Eligibility Criteria

All the interested candidates need to ensure whether they have the appropriate qualifications to be eligible to apply for B.Sc. (Nursing) and M.Sc. (Nursing) from West Bengal University of Health and Science WBUHS).

Here, candidates can read all the necessary qualifications which they need to have to apply for admission-

Eligibility for Bachelor of Science in Nursing

• Candidates need to have passed the senior/higher secondary examination from any school or college recognized by the State or Central Board of education.
• Candidates must have passed the GNM Exam as well and they must have the passing certificate.
• Candidates, having the RNRM certificate which has been registered from State Nursing Council of State (Any state of India), are eligible to apply.

Eligibility for Master of Science in Nursing

• Candidates having bachelor degree in nursing with 55% marks can apply for the admission.
• Those, who have post basic degree in nursing or honours degree in nursing with at least 55% marks, can also apply for admission.
• All the educationally eligible candidates must have one year of work experience as well either prior or after the degree has been pursued.
• Candidates, who have pursued the Bachelors degree in nursing through distance learning programme, will be eligible to apply for admission and appear in the entrance examination only if the distance learning centres are recognized by ‘Indian Nursing Council’ (INC).

WB PG NAT 2022 Application Form: How to apply?

Eligible and interested Candidates can apply online by filling and submitting the application form. Candidates are advised to read the official notification before applying for the West Bengal Post Basic Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing Admission Test 2022. • The application form will be available online and candidates will have to provide all the information in the application form.
• Details like name, date of birth, address and mobile number, email address will be filled in the application form.
• Candidates will have to provide the details of their educational qualification in the application form.

• The application fee for the entrance examination for Master of Nursing course (WPGNAT) will be Rs. 3000.
• The application fee for the entrance examination of Bachelor of Nursing course (WBNAT) will be Rs. 2000.

Admission Procedure

• WBUHS will conduct an entrance examination separately for both bachelor’s and Master’s Courses in nursing.
• Merit list will be made on the basis of the marks attained by the candidates in the entrance examination.
