Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are the most crucial part which candidates must ensure whether they fulfill it or not. Here are the details of the WB PDMAT 2022 eligibility criteria which every candidate must possess to be eligible to apply for the entrance examination and admission into the WBUHS to pursue Post Graduate Doctoral Medical Programme (PGDMP).

• Candidates must have MD/MS degree from an institute recognized by the Medical council of India (MCI).
• Candidates having DNB degree can also apply for the entrance test and admission in the WBUHS.
• Those, who are working under the Health and Family Welfare Department, are also eligible to apply for the entrance examination.

West Bengal DM/M.Ch Entrance Exam (WBPDMAT) 2022 Application Form: How to apply?

Candidates, who wish to apply for PGDMP admission through the WB PDMAT 2022 entrance examination conducted by the University, must read all the instructions given in the official notification before applying.

• Candidates will have to apply through the application form and the application form will be available on the official website of the West Bengal University of Health and Science (WBUHS).
• In the online application form, candidates will have to provide all the details as their name, date of birth, address, contact information (viz. mobile number, landline number) and the email address.
• Along with that, candidates will have to provide all the details about the educational qualifications in the application form.
• Candidates will have to make the payment of the application fee thru online/offline mode.
• Candidates need to take the printout of the application form after making the payment of the application fee.
• Candidates will have to paste their photo in the application form and attach all the necessary academic documents with the application form.
• After attaching all the documents along with the application form, candidates can send the application form by post to the University’s registrar office or can send it by hand.

Application fee

• Candidates will have to make the payment of the application fee before making the submission of the application fee.
• The application fee can be paid with both of the modes viz. online and offline modes.
• The application fee for appearing in the entrance examination for one programme will be Rs. 5000 and those who opt for more than one programme will have to make the submission of Rs. 1000 extra for that programme as application fee.
• The application fee can be paid by the candidates thru credit card, debit card or net banking.
• The application fee can be paid thru the challan generated at the time of form milling.

Admission Procedure

• Candidates’ admission will be based on the marks obtained by them in the entrance examination conducted by the university.
• Candidates’ performance will also be tested through the Interview/Personality Assessment Test.
• After commencement of both the stages of the examination, candidates’ performance will be calculated and transformed into marks.
• The merit list will be made according to the marks obtained by the candidates in both written and oral test.
