MLCU PhD Admission: Applications will be invited by Martin Luther Christian University for admission to three-year doctoral degree (PhD) courses for the academic year 2022-23. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy prescribed eligibility criteria before applying MLCU PhD admission. The details regarding MLCU PhD admission are listed below:

• Candidates having a master’s degree (or equivalent) in any related subject are eligible to apply.
• Students from Meghalaya and Northeast India are given priority.

MLCU Ph.D. Admission Application Form: How to apply?

The MLCU Phd Admission application form can be downloaded from the official website of university i.e. www.mlcuniv.in or candidates can also obtain the application form by sending a letter / emailing the Registrar at Martin Luther Christian University, Dongktieh, Block I, Nongrah Shillong – (793006), Meghalaya, India (or) to [email protected]. The form should be filled in completely and correctly and must be accompanied by a 500 words article on “Why I want to do a PhD and how it will help my career and benefit society”. Candidates required to submit the form before the due date.

MLCU Ph.D. Entrance Test

The University will organize an entrance test for the candidates who fulfill the eligibility requirements and have submitted the completed application form successfully before the due date. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an Interview after the entrance test. The duration of written exam will be 3 hours. The entrance test and interview covers the following subjects

• Research interest of the candidates and its importance
• Motivation and career goals
• Communication skills
• Research methods
• Analytical skills
• Community orientation

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks/scores obtained in written entrance test followed by the interview.

• Entrance test fee – Rs 5000/
• Registration fee- Rs 5000/
• Admission fee- Rs 5000/
• Programme fee – Rs. 30,000/- per annum
• Examination fees – Rs 25000/
