JSS University MBBS, BDS Admission 2022: The JSS University will invite applications from eligible and interested candidates for admission to UG Medical courses like MBBS & BDS for the academic session 2022-23.

Only NEET qualified candidates will be considered eligible to apply to JSS University. The selection will be made truly on the basis of candidates’ rank obtained in NEET and counseling conducted by JSS University.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying for JSS University UG Medical courses. The eligibility criteria of JSS University MBBS/BDS admission 2022 are as follows:

For MBBS Courses:

  • Aspirants who want to get admitted in MBBS programme at JSS University must have done Higher Secondary Certificate Examination /10+2/PUC II or any equivalent examination of any recognized Board / Colleges in India/ University from any School/Foreign after 12 years of study.
  • Applicants should have passed in the subjects Chemistry, Physics, Biology & English individually and must have scored minimum 50% marks (40% marks in case of candidates from SC, ST, category-I & OBC) in Chemistry, Physics, & Biology taken together in the qualifying examinations. Moreover, candidates should have come in the merit and scored at least 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in “National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET)” for admission to MBBS course

Age limit

The minimum age limit of candidate is 17 years as on the admission year.

For BDS courses

  • The aspirants who want admission to BDS programme must have done the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination HSC/ PUC II, the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), or any other equivalent examination of any recognized Board/ Colleges in India/ University from any School/Foreign after 12 years of study
  • Applicants should pass in the subjects Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology & English individually with scoring a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry, Physics, & Biology/ Biotechnology taken together in the qualifying examinations. In case of candidates from SC, ST category-I and OBC category the minimum qualifying marks is 40%.
  • It is necessary for a candidate to obtain at least 50% in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test” to be eligible for BDS course admission.

JSS University MBBS/BDS Application Form: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates who qualify the NEET should fill and submit their application form of MBBS & BDS Courses on or before the due date. Candidates can download the application form from the official website of the university. Fill the details required in the form carefully and correctly. Applicants should send the downloaded application form completed in all respects along with NEET exam score, rank, and applicable application fee of Rs.1000 /- only through demand draft is drawn in favor of “JSS University Fee Account”, Mysore, payable at Mysore along with the necessary documents.

  • NEET Score and Rank card
  • NEET Test Admission Ticket (TAT)
  • Date of birth certificate
  • Mark sheet of S.S.L.C./Equivalent examination
  • Mark sheet of P.U.C./Equivalent examination or Proof of having appeared the 10+2 / PUC II / HSC or equivalent examination.
  • All three-year mark sheet of B.Sc or equivalent examination (in case of bachelor degree holders)
  • Character and Transfer certificate given by the college last attended.
  • Caste / community certificate (if applicable)
  • Migration Certificate (if valid)

Selection Process

Selection of eligible candidates to MBBS & BDS courses in the constituent college of JSS University will be based on the rank list prepared by the JSS University on the basis of candidate’s marks in NEET rank achieved by them in the NEET.
