Gujarat MBBS/BDS Admission 2021: The admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the various medical and dental colleges of Gujarat will be done on the basis of NEET exam scores. The process of online registration for Gujarat MBBS/BDS admission will be commenced most likely from July 2021. Interested and eligible candidates who want to apply for MBBS/BDS Admission in Gujarat should visit the official website of Admission Committee and submit their application form as per prescribed format before the due date. The Gujarat MBBS/BDS 2021 admission will be conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Medical Education Courses (ACPMEC), Gujarat.

According to the norms decided by MCI (Medical Council of India), approx 3500 MBBS and 1000 BDS seats will be given for admission to various government/private medical and dental colleges in the state of Gujarat.  85% management quota seats will be offered through counselling organized by Admission Committee for Professional Medical Education Courses. Rest of the 15% seats will be filled by All India Quota category from all the government MBBS and BDS colleges, which will be provided through online NEET counselling held by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Eligibility criteria

Aspirants must satisfy the prescribed eligibility before applying admission. The eligibility criteria of Gujarat MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 are as follows:

Nationality

• Only Indian nationals can apply
• Aspirants whose parents are origin of India, but do not possess an Indian citizenship and want to apply for admission, will be required to produce the proof of submission of such application, before the date of counselling to the Admission Committee.

Age Limit

• Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 on the admission year.

Educational criteria

• Candidate must have cleared 10th and 12th level examination from “B group” or “AB Group” from Gujarat Board, ISC board or CBSE board.

For NRI candidates

• They should have completed the qualifying examination with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, from anywhere.

NEET Entrance exam

• Applicant should have cleared NEET with required cutoff marks for admission in MBBS, BAMS, BDS, BNAT and BHMS.

Gujarat MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 Application Form: How to apply?

Interested applicants seeking admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Gujarat have to fill and submit the application form of Gujarat MBBS/BDS admission 2021 in online mode. No other mode of application submission will be accepted. Most probably, the Gujarat MBBS application form 2021 will be available in the month of July 2021 after the announcement of NEET result.

Before starting the Gujarat MBBS/BDS registration process, candidates are needed to purchase PIN number available at Axis Bank help centres. By using the same PIN number, candidates have to fill the online Gujarat MBBS/BDS application form. Submit the duly filled application form before the due date. Any application received after the last date of submission will not accept.

Merit List

Most probably, the Admission Committee for Professional Medical Education Courses will release the Gujarat MBBS/ BDS merit list 2021 in the 4^th week of July month. While conducting body will publish the list of NEET appeared candidates from the Gujarat state. The final merit list of Gujarat MBBS/BDS 2021 will be released only after the submission of online application form. Only the applicants who have qualified in NEET successfully and also submit the application form before the due date will be listed in Gujarat MBBS/BDS merit list. The merit list will comprised candidate name, state rank, scores of NEET exam, roll number etc. Candidates will be invited for Gujarat MBBS/BDS counselling round for admission to medical and dental colleges of the state as per their merit rank.

Gujarat MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 Counselling

It is expected that the counselling of Gujarat MBBS/BDS will be commenced in the month of July 2021. The process of counselling will be held in offline mode by the organizing committee i.e. ACPMEC (Admission Committee for Professional Medical Education Courses). The Gujarat MBBS/BDS counselling 2021 will be organized in two rounds only. Counselling is the basis for admission to MBBS and BDS courses to be offered by various medical and dental colleges of the Gujarat state.
