Mararashtra M.Tech admission 2022- All aspirants having valid GATE score are permitted to apply online for admission to M.Tech programme offered by institutions located across the Maharashtra state. Admission would completely depend upon candidates’ performance in GATE exam. Interested and eligible aspirants can fill up their online application form going to be available from July, 2022.
Mararashtra M.Tech Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Check out below the minimum eligibility norms to become eligible for M.Tech admission in the institutions located across the Maharashtra state.
- Only Indian nationals can apply.
- Tech/B.E from a recognized institution.
- Minimum marks secured by candidates in the qualifying exam should be 50% (45% for BC/PwD category candidates of Maharashtra state.
- Candidates having valid GATE score can only apply for admission.
- Final year candidates can apply.

Procedure of Online Application
- Registration process should be done by candidates in prior of filling up the application form.
- Upon successful registration, candidates will receive an application ID.
- Candidates need to log in by using the same application ID to complete the application form submission procedure.
- Pay the necessary amount and take printout of the payment receipt.
- Application Fees- Rs.700/- (Rs.500/- for PwD/SC/ST category applicants).
- Payment of requisite fee can be done through internet banking, debit card or credit card.
Merit List and Counselling Procedure
Ranks would be provided to candidates based on their GATE exam score. Candidates will be able to know their ranks once it is announced by the authority. After announcement of merit list, candidates should get ready for counselling procedure. Counselling Procedure contains following steps:
- Fill up the choice of colleges and courses online.
- After entering your preferences do not forget to save the same.
- Seats will be allotted to aspirants based on their choice of colleges/courses, seats availability and rank in the merit list.
- Candidates must need to report to the allotted institute on specified date and time. If you are failed to attend the counselling process then your seat will be allotted to next candidate in the merit.
