JKCET 2022 application form has been released on 17th March 2022 through online mode. Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JAKBOPEE) is the authority responsible for conducting and managing the Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET). This examination is conducted to select candidates for admission to Bachelor of Engineering & Bachelor of Technology courses in various colleges across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. Those interested candidates looking for admission through this examination need to fill and submit an online application form before the last date which is 21st April 2022. JKCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates who want to get admission through JKCET 2022 examination must make sure that they meet the following eligibility criteria.

Nationality- Only Indian citizens can apply.

Age criteria: The age of a candidate should be equal or more than 17 years as on 31st December 2022.

Educational Qualification-  Aspirants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized statutory Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and with at least 50% marks. 40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Other Socially and Educationally Backward classes.

Note: Those candidates who will appear for the 10+2 or equivalent examination in the year 2022 can also appear in the BOPEE test provisionally. However, they shall be required to produce the marks card of the said examination in support of having qualified the examination at the time of declaration of the result/ counselling.

JKCET 2022 Application Form

JKCET applicaton form has been released in online mode only. All aspiring candidates need to visit the official BOPEE website i.e. www.jkpoee.gov.in. in order to access the application form. The process of application is explained below.

  • First of all, candidates are required to register themselves on the official website by providing some of their basic details like name, father’s name,email ID, phone number.
  • The login credentials (username and password) will be generated for a candidate once registered.
  • In the next step, candidates will be asked to sign-in and access the main application form.
  • In the main application form, aspirants will be asked to provide their personal (including qualification details), and contact details.
  • The details entered in the application form must be correct. Otherwise, it can get rejected.
  • Along with the details, candidates must also upload the following documents.
    • Passport size photograph of the candidate
    • Signature of the candidate (on a white paper with the black ink/ jel pen)
    • Left thumb impression of the candidate.
  • It is also compulsory for all candidates to pay the required application fee.
  • After submitting the application form. Candidates are required to upload the documents in PDF format.
    • Valid Residence Proof certificate of J&K or Ladakh as the case may be
    • Qualifying marks (12th class) certificate; (if the result is declared)
    • Date of Birth Certificate(Matriculation issued by the Board)
    • Reserved category certificate, if any, (including Sports Certificate/ TFW certificate) on the prescribed proforma. (Duly renewed where ever applicable)
  • It is advised to take a printout of the application form submitted and fee receipt for future requirements.

Application Fee

  • The application fee is the same for all candidates i.e. Rs. 1200/-
  • A candidate can pay the application fee online using a national Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

JKCET 2022 Admit Card

JKCET admit card will be released through online mode.

  • The exam conducting authority will make the admit card/ roll number available online through the official website.
  • Candidates will be asked to provide their registration number and date of birth in order to download an admit card.
  • An admit card contains very important information such as the date, time, and venue of the examination.
  • A candidate has to affix his/her photograph which should then be attested by a Gazetted officer.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre without an admit card.
  • It is also compulsory for all candidates to carry a photo ID proof along with the admit card at the time of the examination.

  • Physics: Physical world and measurement,  kinematics, laws of motion, work, energy and power, motion of system of particles and rigid body, gravitation, properties of bulk matter, thermodynamics, behaviour of perfect gas and kinetic theory, oscillations and waves, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetic effects of current and magnetism, electromagnetic induction and alt. currents, electromagnetic waves, optics, dual nature of matter and radiation, atoms and nuclei, electronic devices, communication system, etc.
  • Chemistry: Chemical arithmetic & atomic structure, chemical equilibrium, chemical kinetics, solutions, chemical thermodynamics, redox reactions and electrochemistry, solid state & states of matter, surface chemistry, periodic properties, chemical bonding and molecular structure, chemistry of representative elements, transition elements including Lanthanoides, co-ordination chemistry, nomenclature and basic concepts in organic chemistry, hydrocarbons, organic chemistry based on functional group – I, organic chemistry based on function group-ii,  organic chemistry based on functional group-iii, molecules of life, polymers

JKCET 2022 Answer Key

  • The provisional answer keys will be made available on the examination day itself or a day after the examination.
  • Authorities will invite candidates to raise objections against answer keys if any.
  • Candidates have to raise an objection within a specific period of time and have to pay a certain amount for the same (most probably Rs. 1000/-).
  • The revised final answer keys will be upload on the official website after addressing all the objections.
  • The result is prepared on the basis of the final answer keys.

JKCET Result 2022

  • The result of JKCET 2022 examination will be declared in online mode through the official website.
  • To check the result, candidates have to enter their roll number and other registration details.
  • The result card will contain information about the marks secured by them in the entrance exam.
  • Along with the result, the exam authorities will also upload merit lists of candidates selected for admission.
  • In case of a tie, the following pattern will be considered in order to rank a candidate.
    • Marks obtained in the Mathematics section by the candidate
    • In case mathematics marks are also equal then marks obtained in the physics section
    • In case physics marks are also equal then marks obtained in the chemistry section
    • If the tie continues then the older candidate will be preferred.

JKCET 2022 Counselling

  • Those successful candidates who will get selected and get their names on the merit list will be invited for the counselling.
  • During the counselling process, candidates will be asked to fill the preference form. In this post, candidates have to enter their choice of colleges in which they want to study.
  • The seats are allotted based on candidate’s rank and choice filled by them during counselling.
  • The admission will be confirmed only after the verification of documents and payment of the admission fees.
