Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC) which is also sometimes referred as the Government Engineering College is Government Engineering College, offers various programmes in engineering on bachelor and Masters level. VGEC Chandkheda (GEC Chandkheda) is located in the Chandkheda city of India in the Ahmedabad district. VGEC has got the affiliation from the Gujarat University of Technology. Earlier the Institute was established in Gandhinagar but later the new campus of the college was inaugurated in Ahmedabad in 2005 by honourable Narendra Modi (the then Chief Minister of Gujrat), present Prime Minister of India.
