Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants need to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria in order to apply for the Thapar University LEET 2021.
- The applicants should hold Indian citizenship.
- The applicants should have done 3 years Diploma course in the relevant stream after Class X from Polytechnic Institution/College recognized by UGC/AICTE or affiliated with State Board of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for candidates from SC/ST) in aggregate.
- The applicants who have completed 2 years Diploma course after 10+2 from Polytechnic Institution/College recognized by UGC/AICTE or affiliated with State Board of Technical Education with minimum of 60% marks (55% for candidates from SC/ST) in aggregate may also apply for the exam
- Candidates who have done B.Sc (Non-medical) with minimum of 60% marks (55% for candidates from SC/ST) in aggregate are also eligible for the exam
- The candidates must have a good moral character
- They needs to qualify LEET – TU with at least 20% marks in total (15% for SC/ST candidates).

LEET Application Form 2021: How to apply?
LEET Application form will available online. Candidate can download the form by visiting the official website link and take the print out of the same. Aspirants can follow steps in order to apply for the exam easily and successfully:
- First of all, visit the official website of University i.e. www.thapar.edu and register yourself in order to access the application form.
- The login credentials will send to the email address that you’ve specified in the registration form. Access the application form by using the same.
- Now fill up the form completely as per the given instructions without any mistake
- Candidate must attach the recent photograph on application form
- Candidates should take a printout of the duly filled application form and keep safe with you for future use like at the time of counseling
- Once the application form is completely filled, submit the same at the following address:

Application Fee
The candidates have to pay Rs. 1500 either online or through Demand draft as required application fee. In case, the applicants are remitting application fee through demand draft then, it must be drawn in favor of ‘Thapar University, payable at Patiala’.
Admit Card
The university will generate LEET Admit card only after the successful submission of application form. Candidates who have successfully submitted their application form along with required DD at Thapar University at the scheduled time will able to download their admit card/hall ticket from the official website. Candidate must carry their admit card while appearing in the exam center.
How to download admit card
- Visit the official website link i.e. www.thapar.edu
- Click on the LEET admit card 2021 link available on the web page (after the official release of admit card)
- Enter details like roll no/registration number, Date of birth, password etc as per mentioned.
- Click on submit option and download your hall ticket
Exam Pattern
LEET exam 2021 will include two papers as listed below:
- Paper 1: General – this paper will comprise 40 multiple choice questions from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English
- Paper 2: Professional- this paper will contain 60 multiple choice questions in the relevant engineering stream each carrying one mark.
- The duration of exam will be 120 minutes
- The paper will consist of total of 100 marks
- There will be also negative marking of ¼ marks for each wrong response given by candidate.
Result
The result will be available online for the candidates who have successfully appeared in the LEET. Candidates can check and download their result online by providing credentials like roll no, name or date of birth.
