MP PPT Eligibility Criteria 2021

Students seeking admission in various diploma programs offered by the colleges/institute in the state of Madhya Pradesh must go through the MP PPT Eligibility criteria 2021 to ensure if they can apply for the exam or not. Ineligible candidates won’t be permitted to take the entrance test for admission in diploma courses such as fashion technology, engineering, architecture, textile design, hotel management, travel and tourism etc. It is mandatory for the applicants to fulfill the MP PPT eligibility criteria  before they proceed for the application form.

MP PPT Eligibility Criteria 2021

Candidates wishing to enroll in various diploma programs must satisfy the eligibility criteria given below-

Nationality:

  • An applicant must be a resident of India and should fulfill the domicile requirements of the Madhya Pradesh.
  • NRI candidates can apply under the seats reserved for them.

Qualifying Examination:

  • Candidates should have passed class 10th or its equivalent from a recognized board/university.
  • Mathematics and science (physics and chemistry) are the compulsory subjects needed in class 10th/SSC exam.
  • Candidates opting for fashion technology are free from the subject restrictions in class 10th board exam.
  • Candidates appearing in SSC or class 10th may also apply for MP PPT entrance examination.

Percentage Required: Candidates should have obtained minimum 35% aggregate marks in the above qualifying examination.

Note:

  • For mining and mine surveying course, candidate’s age should not be less than 16 years as on 1st January 2019.
  • Female candidates cannot apply for mining and mine surveying program.
  • Only physically fit male candidates will be considered for the mining and mine surveying program.

Application Form

After ensuring the MP PPT eligibility criteria, candidates can apply for the exam by filling the online application form available on the official website of Vyapam. Proper care should be taken while filling the details in the application form. The form must be submitted on or before the due date stated for it. Applicants need to keep the scanned photograph and signature ready to upload in the form. They must pay Rs. 400 as the application fee for the exam. Those from the SC/ST/OBS/PWD categories need to pay Rs. 200/-. Without the application fee, the applications will be rejected by the authority. No change request will be permitted after the application form is submitted successfully.
