VOCLET: Application Form, Exam Date, Syllabus

VOCLET: The application form for VOCLET is available now. The West Bengal State Council of Technical Education is the conducting authority for VOCLET. Every year, this exam conducts for providing admission to second-year polytechnic programs offered at various government, government-sponsored and self-financed polytechnic colleges of the West Bengal state. As per the official notification, the VOCLET is going to be held on 6th May 2018. So, the aspirants who want to appear in VOCLET exam must submit the duly filled application form on or before the due date which is March. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure their eligibility criteria for VOCLET before applying for the exam. The detailed info of VOCLET eligibility criteria is given below:

Educational qualification

• Candidate should have done 10+2 Examination from WBSCT&VE&SD (VED) OR cleared 2 years’ regular course of ITI after 10th or equivalent examinations.
• Those who are appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.

Age limit:

There is no age limit

VOCLET Application Form

Candidates may obtain the online application form from its official website or OMR Application Forms & Information Brochure from all Government Sponsored, Government, and Self-financed polytechnics having affiliation with the WBSCT&VE&SD (erstwhile WBSCTE), or Government ITI s including PTP run Government and Private ITIs located in West Bengal state and one centre located in Tripura. The duration of filling up the VOCLET Application form may fall in between January to March. Candidates have to provide all important information such as personal, educational, and many other details in the VOCLET application form. Moreover, they have to upload their photo, signature and Left hand thumb impression as per the given format. After final submission of the form online, candidates have to take the printout of the duly filled in application form and get the application confirmed from any of the Polytechnics affiliated to WBSCT&VE&SD by submitting one photocopy of the form and depositing necessary application fee in CASH. After the successful confirmation by the respective authority, candidates can confirm their validation through student login.

Application Fee

• Application fee for online application form: Rs.450/- (Rs.225/- in case of Kanyashree enrollees);
• Application fee for OMR Application Form: Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of Kanyashree enrollees);

VOCLET Exam Pattern

• Total number of papers: Two (First Paper- “Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry” and Second Paper: “Mechanics & Computer”);
• Questions’ Type: Multiple Choice Questions;
• Mode of Answering questions: OMR Answer Sheet;
• Both the papers will be 100 marks for each;

How to Obtain the Admit Card Online?

Candidates can obtain the e-admit card from the official website of WBSCTE i.e. http://www.webscte.org/. Download your admit card from there and do not forget taking its printout of the same and it will be must to show while appearing in the exam.

VOCLET Result

Candidates can check their VOCLET result online through visiting the official website of conducting body. The result of VOCLET might be announced in May. Candidates can check or download the result by providing their registration number or name.
