GLAET 2023: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Important Dates

GLAET 2023: GLA University will be inviting applications for GLA University Entrance Test (GLAET) 2023 for academic session 2023-24. Aspirants, who wish to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the university, can register themselves for GLAET 2023 online from the official website.

GLAET 2023 Important Dates (Tentative)

The expected dates for GLAET 2023 are as follows. The dates may be changed as per university’s guidelines.

GLAET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy prescribed eligibility conditions before appearing in GLAET 2023. It should be noted that the GLAET 2023 eligibility criteria may vary for different courses.

For B.Tech: candidates must have done 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational scoring minimum 60% marks (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST)

For B.Phram/D.Pharm/B.Sc: candidates having 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics with minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST) are eligible to apply.

The minimum age limit for candidates will be 17 years as on admission year.

For BBA/B.Com/BCA: candidates having 10+2 in any subject (Mathematics at 12^th level for BCA) with minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST) can apply for the exam.

For B.Ed: candidates having Graduation degree in any subject with minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST) can apply for the exam.

For MBA: candidates having graduation in any subject with minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST) can apply for exam

Candidates, who qualified CAT/XAT/MAT/UPSEE, will be given preference in MBA admission.

For MCA: candidates having graduation in any subject with mathematics at 10+2 level obtaining minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST) can apply for the exam.

For M.Sc Biotechnology/ Microbiology & Immunology: candidates having graduation in Biotechnology or Life Sciences Stream with obtaining minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST) can apply for the exam.

For M.Tech: Candidates, who have done B.tech/MCA in a related stream with scoring minimum 60% marks, can apply for the online entrance test.

Candidates qualifying GATE will be given preference in M.Tech admission.

For M.Pharm: Candidates, who have done B.Pharm in a related stream with scoring minimum 60% marks, are eligible to apply for this online entrance test.

GLAET 2023 Application Form: How to apply?

Candidates can apply for GLAET 2023 through online as well as the offline process. Before applying for the online entrance test, please ensure that you meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Online application process:

• For online application, candidate should register themselves first by visiting the online link available at official website of university i.e. http://www.gla.ac.in/
• Fill the application form carefully after reading instructions given on the web page
• Candidates have to pay an entrance fee of Rs.700/-(except Diploma in engineering, D.Pharma, & B.Ed). The payment can be made through different online Payment Modes such as Credit Card/Debit Card /Net Banking. The fee can also send through offline modes such as Demand draft (DD) and cash.
• Once the application process has been completed successfully, you will receive a unique registration id & password on your registered email id or phone number. Note down these login credentials for the further examination procedure.

Offline Application Process

Candidates can also apply through offline mode. In offline application, they also have to register first.

Steps for offline application

• Visit the official website of the university and download the application form.
• Take a printout of the same and fill the required details carefully and completely.
• Send the duly filled application form in an envelope along with the demand draft (DD) of Rs 700/- (except Diploma in engineering, D.Pharma & B.Ed) drawn in favour of “GLA University” payable at “VRINDAVAN”.
• Candidates need to mention the details “Offline GLAET-18 Registration for Name of the programme you are applying” on the back side of the envelope and send the same via post or by hand at the address mentioned below:

• Candidates are advised to write his/her name and unique id on the back side of demand draft.

Selection Process

Admission of candidates will be done on the basis of performance in online entrance test and personal interview round.

Result

GLAET Result 2023 will be announced online after the successful completion of entrance test. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website of the university. They need to enter their unique registration number in order to check and download the result.
