CNLU Admission 2022: Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) invites application from Indian nationals, overseas citizens of India (OCIs) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to take admission for B.A., L.L.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A., L.L.B. (Hons.). CNLU Admission 2022 Important Dates (tentative)

Candidates need to keep updated with the dates of CNLU admission process and all other vital events. The chart given below shows some of the important dates for the admission in the CNLU:

Eligibility Criteria

Overseas citizens and the NRIs will be able to take the admission in the university on the basis of the marks obtained in the higher secondary school examination with the condition that they have appeared in the CLAT exam.

Some of the other criteria are given below-

  • The age of the candidates should not exceed 20 years as on 1st July 2022.
  • Candidates must have attained minimum 45% marks in the senior secondary school examination to be eligible to take the admission in the University for the Desired Course.

CNLU Application Form 2022: How to Apply?

Admission process starts with the filling and making the submission of the application form. Candidates, who wish to apply for the desired course from CNLU can apply for admission thru the online application form.

Candidates have been given all the necessary details about how they can apply for the admission:

  • Candidates can download the application form from the official website of the university.
  • After the application form is downloaded from the official website, candidates need to fill in the required details on the application form.
  • After filling the details in the application form, candidates can make the submission of the application form online.
  • Candidates will have to keep in mind that all the necessary documents are attached to the application form before the form is submitted online.
  • Candidates will also have to submit the application fee of Rs. 7500.
  • Candidates, who have appeared in the Combined Law Admission Test (CLAT), shall have to attach the CLAT Admit Card with the Application Form.
  • There are some other enclosures which need to be submitted along with the application form and the attached documents will be enlisted on the application form.

Selection Procedure

Below are the guidelines for the selection of the candidates:

  • Candidates from the general category must have attained a minimum of 50% marks in the higher secondary school examination and it will be 45 % for the candidates of the reserved category.
  • The selection of the candidates will be based on the score attained by the candidates in the CLAT.
  • Candidate’s final merit will be based on the marks attained by the candidates in the intermediate exam and CLAT.

There is 3% reservation for the PWDs and the numbers of seats available in the university are as per the rules Bihar Act and there may be variations in the number of seats as per the discretion of the University.

Final Result and Counseling

Candidates will be offered the admission to the university after the final result is declared and the process of counseling of the qualified candidates is commenced.
