Eligibility Criteria
PGCET is the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test. To apply for this examination candidates must have completed and passed graduation with 50% marks. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum required percentage is 45% whereas for General category candidates, minimum criteria are 50% marks. Candidates who have enrolled in the last year of graduation also stand eligible. In addition to PGCET, candidates can also appear for CAT and MAT exam. Both are aptitude test for MBA but CAT is more difficult than MAT and higher ranking in CAT ensures admission in top colleges of Karnataka. Through PGCET, there are approximately 17000 management seats offered.
