Assam Polytechnic 2023: The Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) is conducted for selection of candidates for admission to diploma courses offered by the polytechnic colleges of the state. Separate tests will be conducted for admission to normal diploma courses and to diploma in Modern Office Management (MOM) and to Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Regional Government Film and Television Institute (DBHRGFTI). Assam Polytechnic 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed below can apply for Assam Polytechnic exams 2023:

For PAT:

• Domicile: Candidate should be a permanent resident of Assam state.
• Age limit: The maximum age of the candidates as on 31^st December 2023 should be 20 years and 6 months (23 years and 6 months for SC/ ST candidates).
• Qualification: A pass in HSLC or equivalent exam with at least 40% marks in aggregate of Science & Mathematics subjects is required (35% for SC candidates and 33% for ST candidates).

For MOM:

• Domicile: Candidate should be a permanent resident of Assam state.
• Age limit: The maximum age of the candidates as on 31^st December 2023 should be 22 years and 6 months (25 years and 6 months for SC/ ST candidates).
• Qualification: Candidates should have passed HSSLC in any stream from a recognized board to be eligible.

For DBHRGFTI:

• Domicile: Candidate should be a permanent resident of Assam state.
• Qualification: Diploma in Audiography & Sound Engineering and Motion Picture Photography: Applicants need to clear their class 12^th exam with Science subject securing minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST candidates).
• Diploma in Film and Video Editing: A pass in class 12^th exam with any stream and obtaining 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ ST candidates) is required.
• Diploma in Applied Acting (Film &TV): The candidates should have passed their class 12^th

Assam Polytechnic 2023 Application Form

Candidates can apply online for Assam Polytechnic 2023 by visiting the official website www.dte.assam.gov.in. The candidates are requested to read the instructions carefully in the information brochure before filling the online application form.

• In the application form, the candidates need to provide basic personal and academic details like name, gender, date of birth, qualifying exam marks, school name, etc.
• Scanned copies of photograph and signature of the candidates should also be uploaded in the application form.
• After providing all the details correctly, the candidates can submit the application form online.
• After final submission, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form for the future reference.
• Since the application process is completely online, there is no need to send this printout to the DTE, Assam.

Application fee:

• To complete the application process successfully, the candidates are required to submit a certain amount of application fee as well.
• The application fee is expected to be Rs. 500/- and can be paid either online (debit card/ credit card/ net banking) or offline (SBI bank challan).

Assam Polytechnic 2023 Admit Card

• The admit card for Assam Polytechnic 2023 has been released online around one week before the admission test.
