AIEED 2022: Application Form (out), Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus

AIEED 2022 application form has been released now. ARCH Academy conducts the All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) for admission into various UG and PG level programmes in Design offered by it. The exam is organized on an annual basis. Interested candidates need to apply for the AIEED 2022 to enroll in various disciplines of Design. Candidates should note that all the UG programmes are conducted as per Pearson-Edexcel norms. Exam Dates for AIEED 2022

The official dates for AIEED 2022 have been released now:

AIEED 2022 Application Form

The application form for AIEED 2022 can be obtained only via online mode. The form must be filled by visiting the official website only. Candidates need to register themselves for the exam before moving ahead for the application form. On successful registration, candidates will receive an email and sms to the registered mobile no. and Email ID. The same will be used for login to the website for filling the form. Students should also keep the scanned copy of photograph, signature, class 10^th mark sheet and class 12^th mark sheet or past qualifications handy while filling the application form. For GAT exam, candidates can choose the exam date and time slot as per their convenience and for CAT exam, candidates can choose between the online & centre based exam. Students will also need to pay a certain amount in form of application fee to submit their application successfully.

Candidates need to pay Rs. 3000/- as application fee for AIEED 2022 Examination. The fee can be paid via the any of the modes mentioned below-

1. Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking or Online payment gateway of AIEED
2. Demand Draft in favour of “ARCH Educational Society” payable at Jaipur and sent to the following address-

Eligibility Criteria AIEED 2022

For UG programme: A candidate must be 16 years and above to be eligible for AIEED 2022. He/She should have passed 10+2/appearing in class 12^th from a recognized board/university.

Note:

• Students applying for Interior design course need not appear for the AIEED Exam but they should have a valid NATA score/AIEEE Rank/NID Score in order to be called directly for the interview.
• Candidates studying in class 11^th (10+1) can also appear for the exam.

For PG programme:  

A candidate should be a graduate or pursuing graduation from a recognized university can apply for AIEED Exam 2022. Graduation in any discipline will be valid.

Students who have finished a 2/3 years diploma course in design can also apply for the exam.

AIEED 2022 Exam Pattern

The AIEED Entrance Exam will be organized in two phases as follows-

For UG Programme: Stage-I will be of General ability test i.e. compulsory for all and stage-II will be of Creative ability test.

After clearing the stage-I and stage-II, candidates will be called for the interview and Portfolio session.

Note:

• The CAT exam can be given either centre based or online-

Centre Based: Any two consecutive Saturday’s after GAT Exam

Online Exam: Within 5 Days of online GAT Exam

For PG Programme:

After clearing the GAT, candidates will undergo the Interview and portfolio round.

AIEED 2022 Syllabus

There is no specific syllabus mentioned by the authority for AIEED Exam. However, candidates can expect questions on the awareness of design, color & composition, visual ability, general awareness, reasoning, lateral thinking etc.

Preparation Tips for AIEED 2022

Here are some useful tips that will help a candidate succeed in the exam-

1. Plan a routine and follow it regularly.
2. Make short notes while studying.
3. Use good study material.
4. Solve previous year papers to get an idea of the exam.
5. Revise the topics a week before the exam. Don’t read anything new just before the exam.
6. Observe your surroundings and pay attention to the details.
7. Develop a habit of reading a newspaper.
8. Subscribe a design related magazine (if needed).

AIEED 2022 Admit Card

The admit card for AIEED entrance exam will only be available to those candidates who have successfully submitted their application form. Candidates can download their admit card a week before the commencement of the exam. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website of the AIEED. Students should note that without the admit card, they will not be permitted to appear for the exam. Hence, they should keep checking the website for fresh updates.

AIEED Result and Selection 2022

The result of the AIEED Entrance Exam 2022 will be based on the overall performance of a candidate in the exam. A merit list will be prepared to shortlist the candidates for different UG and PG courses offered through AIEED Exam. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the AIEED 2022 exam, marks secured in Class 10^th/12^th/Graduation and performance in Interview/Portfolio.
