Admission Procedure at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi

Admission Procedure of IIT Delhi – UG courses:

• The admissions are done on the basis of the entrance exam of JEE Main and JEE Advanced. At first, the candidates will have to take the JEE Main exam and only top 1.5 lakh candidates from all the categories will be allowed to take the JEE Advanced exam which will be the final level selection exam for admissions in IITs.
• The JEE Advanced qualified candidates will be called for counselling for the IITs and the allotments will be done on the merit basis.

Admission Process of Indian Institute of Technology Delhi – MBA:

• The admissions will be done on the basis of CAT Scores.
• The candidates will have to pass the CAT exam as well as satisfy the other eligibility norms of admissions in MBA Courses and then appear for the GD and PI rounds at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
• Finally, the final results will be declared by the institute and the course will commence.

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi Admission Procedure – PG Courses:

• Tech admissions will be done on the basis of GATE scores. The exam is held every year and the seat allotment will be done on the merit basis and eligibility satisfaction.
• M.Sc. admissions will be done on the basis of candidates’ marks in the JAM or the Joint Admission Test to M. Sc.
• The admissions in M. Des course will be done on the basis of marks in CEED or Common Entrance Examination for Design.
