Assam JLEE 2021: Directorate of Technical Education, Assam conducts Joint Lateral Entrance Examination for candidates seeking admission to the third semester of B.E programme offered at Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat; Assam Engineering College, Guwahati; Bineswar Brahma Engineering College, Kokrajhar And Jorhat Institute Of Science And Technology, Jorhat. It is notified that online application form for Assam JLEE 2021 will be available from 3rd June 2021 and the exam will be held on 26th September 2021.

Assam JLEE 2021 Important Dates

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum eligibility for appearing in Assam JLEE is as follows:

• Candidates should have obtained 3 years duration Diploma degree from any Polytechnic institution of Assam state under State Council of Technical Education (SCTE).
• The minimum marks secured by candidates should be 45% (40% for SC/ST category applicants).
• Candidate should be a permanent citizen of Assam state.

How to Apply for Assam JLEE 2021?

Candidates can apply online in between the prescribed deadline from the official website of DTE, Assam i.e. www.dteassam.in. Now you need to obtain a demand draft amounting Rs.1000/- which should be drawn in favour of The Director, Technical Education, Assam payable at State Bank of India, Kahilipara. Candidates finally need to send their application form along with prescribed demand draft to DTE, Assam through speed post. Please go through the step-by-step instruction to apply for the exam given below:

• Candidates need to apply online for Assam JLEE 2021 by visiting its official website i.e. (www.dteassam.in).
• Before you apply online, you need to read the related instructions first.
• Candidates are instructed to submit their applications before the last date gets over in order to avoid last time rush/disconnection/failure to log on to the website.
• Candidates need to keep a bank draft of Rs.1000/- ready that should be in favour of The Director, Technical Education, Assam payable at State bank of India, Kahilipara Branch, Guwahati.
• You need to keep a scanned copy of your signature and photograph ready. The images should be in JPEG format of less than 100 KB size.
• Candidates must provide right information in the application. Please get a preview of your application before you submit it as further changes won’t be allowed upon submission.
• Change in the exam centre won’t be allowed under any circumstances. Therefore, candidates are advised to select the exam centre correctly.
• Once your provided data is saved, an application number would be generated on the screen. Candidates should make a note of their respective application number and print their filled application form.
• The hard copy of the application needs to be sent along with demand draft via speed post to the address The Directorate of Technical Education, Kahilipara, Guwahati – 781019. The envelope containing the Application Form should be superscribed “JOINT LATERAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2021” along with your application number.

Exam pattern

• There will be a single question paper of 3 hours duration.
• All questions will be MCQ type only.

Basic Computer: 10 Questions

Mathematics: 30 Questions

Graphics: 10 Questions

Branch of Engineering: 50 Questions

• 4 marks are associated with every correct answer.
• Deduction of one mark will be done for every incorrect response.

Assam JLEE admit Card 2021

You can download your admit card from the official web portal of the authority by using your application number and date of birth. Date of availability of admit card may fall in the month of June 2018. We will furnish the link to download your admit card.
