UP PCSJ 2022 (Civil Judge): Notification, Application Form, Dates

UP PCSJ 2022: The aspiring candidates of Utter Pradesh if want to make their career in the field of judiciary and want to be a public servant, they can apply for the post of civil judges. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) publishes the notification every year to fill the vacancies of the post of civil judges (Junior Division) in Uttar Pradesh judicial system.

Candidates, who have a degree in law and want to be the part of state’s legal; the system can apply for the post of judge. UP PCSJ 2022 Application Form: How to apply?

To take part in the examination and the selection process, candidates have to fill and submit the application form. The details about how the application form can be submitted are given below.

  • The UP PCSJ Application Form will be available on official website and all the eligible candidates can fill the form thru the official website of UPPSC.
  • Candidates will fill all the details in the application form such as the name, age, gender and the educational qualifications etc.
  • Except that, candidates will also provide the communication details such as address, email ID, and phone number.
  • There will be an application also which candidates will pay online thru the credit card, debit card or net banking.
  • The application fee for the candidates belonging to the general category will be Rs. 125 and for SC and ST, the application fee will be Rs 65 and the application fee for the PwDs, the application fee will be Rs. 25.
  • After submitting the application form, candidates need to take the application saved in the pdf format on their PC for future reference.

UP PCSJ 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates will be eligible to apply for the examination and the selection process for UP PCSJ 2022 (Junior Division) who fulfill the following criteria:

  • Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
  • Applicants must have the domicile of Utter Pradesh to get the reservation and the relaxation
  • Candidate must be completed a Bachelor of Law degree from a University established by Law in Uttar Pradesh or any other University of India recognized for this purposes by the Governor,  Or
  • Must be an Advocate registered under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961 or a Barrister of Northern Ireland or England or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland and is permitted to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate thereto;
  • Candidates should possess a complete knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script.
  • The age of the candidates must be between 22 years and 35 years (both included).
  • Candidates of the reserved category will get the reservation and relaxation in the upper age if they have permanent domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
  • The age relaxation for the SC and ST category will be of 5 years.
  • The age relaxation for the candidates of the OBC category will be 3 years.

UP PCSJ 2022 Exam Pattern

There will be three stages of the examination i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Viva-voce ( Personality Test ). Candidates will have to appear in the preliminary examination first. The preliminary examination is the screening test and after qualifying, this test, candidates will be eligible to appear in the mains examination. The last stage of the selection process will be an interview and after succeeding in the interview assessment, candidates will get the appointment letter.

Details about the Pre exam

  • There will be two question papers in the preliminary examination.
  • Each question paper will be 150 marks.
  • The time duration of the question papers will be 2 hours.
  • The first question paper will be of general awareness.
  • The second question paper will be Law.
  • The question papers will be of objective nature.

Details about the Main exam

The second stage of the examination will be the Main exam. Candidates, who crack the preliminary stage of the examination, get the opportunity to appear in the main examination.

  • There will be 5 question papers in the main examination.
  • All the question papers will be of descriptive nature.
  • The question paper will be of 200 marks.
  • The first question paper will be of General Knowledge.
  • The second question paper will be of language.
  • The third question paper will be of ‘substantive law’.
  • The fourth question paper will be of ‘Procedure and Evidence’.
  • ‘Penal, Revenue and Local Laws’ will be the part of the fifth question paper.

UP PCSJ Interview

  • There is no specific pattern and syllabus of the interview; however, candidates need to have the knowledge of the law in deep. The interview will be of 100 marks.

UP PCSJ Admit Card 2022

  • The PCSJ admit card will be available on the official portal of the commission.
  • Candidates will get the download link of their admit card on the official website.
  • The admit card will have all the crucial details about the examination, the reporting time at the exam centre and the date and venue of the PCSJ examination.
  • It will be necessary for all the examinees to take admit card with them at the exam venue.

 UP PCSJ (Junior Division) 2022 Result

  • Candidates will get the result of the examination on the official portal of the commission.
  • The result will be declared step by step.
  • Firstly, candidates will get the result of the preliminary examination and then the final result will be declared after the commencement of the main exam and interview.

    • Bare act ka matlab hai keval act.. Usme na hi case study hota hai aur na hi wo saral bhasha mai hota uski language thodi tough hoti hai… Usme zyada description nahi hota.
