Candidates interested to apply for the post of Junior Engineer in the Indian Railways can apply after the release of its respective notification. The RRB JE application form 2023 will be released through online mode as per the schedule decided by the Railway Recruitment Board. Submission of application form will be accompanied with the payment of application fee which can be done both online as well as offline. Candidates are advised to ensure the RRB JE Eligibility Criteria 2023 before applying for the exam.

• Candidates waiting for the final results of their qualifying exam should not apply for RRB JE.
• Applying for more than one RRB will lead to rejection of all the applications and candidates doing so will be debarred from all future exams conducted by RRB.

• No change in the application form will be allowed after its submission.
• The exam fee once submitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to fill RRB JE Application Form 2023?

Candidates will b able to apply online for RRB JE 2023 by visiting the official website of the concerned RRB. Step-by-step instructions to fill the RRB JE application form 2023 are provided below.

Process of Registration

Select the RRB for which you wish to apply. Choose carefully as one selected, it cannot be changed. Read the instructions that appear on the page and then click on ‘new registration’ link.

You will be asked to provide the following details for registration- Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Aadhaar Number, SSLC/ Metric/ ITI Roll Number, Year of Passing, Mobile Number and Email ID.

Once these details are submitted, an OTP will be sent on the registered email id and phone number for verification. After successful verification, registration number and password will be displayed on the screen. Kindly note down these details and keep them safe.

Filling of Application

Go to the home page and click on ‘already registered button’. Provide the registration number and password and click on submit to open the application form.

In the application form, provide the details of educational qualification, community, gender, religion, Ex-Servicemen, PWD, minority, economically backward class and age relaxation eligibility category and other details as asked. Also select the exam group and preference of the post for which you wish to apply for.

Candidates will also be asked to provide their choice for medium of test and upload their photograph and signature into the application form.

Once all these details are entered into the application form, the candidates can then proceed towards submission of application fee.

Application fee:

To complete the process of application, the candidates will have to make payment of the prescribed application fee/ examination fee. Payment of fee can be done through both online and offline mode, as per the convenience of the applicants. Online payment can be done through net banking/ credit card/ debit card. Offline payment can be done through SBI Bank Challan Payment mode in any branch of SBI or Post Office Challan Payment mode in any branch of computerized post office.

• For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PwBDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class: Rs. 250/-
• For all other candidates: Rs. 500/-
• Upon appearing in the first stage of the test, Rs. 250/- will be refunded for concessional candidates and Rs. 400/- for the rest candidates after deducting bank charges.

• It should be colored passport sized with white/ light color background scanned with 100 DPI resolutions.
• Photograph must have been taken on or after 01-10-2023 in a professional studio.
• The photo should have clear front view of the candidate without cap and sunglasses and forehead, eyes, nose and chin should be clearly visible.
• The face should occupy at least 50% of the photograph area with a full face view looking at the camera. Main features of the face must not be covered by hair, cloth or shadow.
• In case the candidate wears glasses, the photograph should not have any glare/ reflections on glasses.

Specification for uploading signature

• Signature should be on white paper with black ink pen with in a box of size 50 mm x 20 mm and should be scanned with 100 DPI resolution.
• Signature must be in running letters and not in block letters.
