IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2022: Prelims & Mains Paper Pattern

Each of the conductors of the examination has its own process of selection and setup of question papers which they ask to the candidates to find their suitability for the job and responsibility they will be provided after selection.

IBPS is an autonomous body which recruits candidates for various posts for banks and financial institutions and regional Rural banks (RRBs) are one of them.

For those candidates who have studied the eligibility criteria of the IBPS RRB exam 2022 and if they are eligible, they are advised to study the IBPS RRB exam pattern 2022 as well so that they can start their preparation with adeptness as per the syllabus and pattern.

What are RRBs?

RRBs stand for Regional Rural Banks. These are the banks which are actually located in the remote regions of India. Rural Banks have been designed to fulfill the banking needs of the last person who lives in the farthermost corner of the country. Through RRB examination IBPS specifically selects candidates for various posts in Regional Rural Banks. Currently, there are almost 56 rural banks which IBPS recruits the employees for.

There are four categories of posts in rural banks which IBPS conducts the examination for. Below in separate tables, candidates have been provided the specific examination pattern for all the different posts notified by IBPS.

Some Important things about IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

  • The IBPS RRB examination 2022 will be conducted through online mode at the centers decided by IBPS.
  • The RRB Examination for all the mentioned posts shall be conducted on the same day.
  • The IBPS RRB Exam Syllabus will be the same for the same subjects nevertheless the posts are different.
  • The question papers will be provided in both Hindi and English Language. The translated copy of the specific questions of Hindi language and English language will not be available and they will remain the same in the original language.
  • The RRB Examination will be of objective nature and Multiple Choice Questions will be provided to the candidates which they will choose one correct option from.
  • Candidates have their choice to use their discretion while choosing any one of the subjects of Language viz. Hindi Language or English Language.

Interview / Personality Test

  • All the aspirants who have got minimum qualifying marks in the written examination will be called for the interview.
  • Interviews will be conducted at the venue decided by IBPS where a board will evaluate the appropriateness of the contenders for the job profile they have applied for.

After the interview is held, all the selected candidates will be deputed in the participating RRBs on the posts they have been chosen or applied for
