IBPS Recruitment  Indian Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), which is an inter-governmental body, announces the official notification for the recruitment of the bank probationary officer (bank PO), specialist officers (SO), clerks, office assistants and the multi-tasking staff for more than a dozen of public sector banks except State bank of India. Candidates, who have completed their graduation in any stream, will be eligible to participate in the selection process through IBPS Recruitment 2018. IBPS Eligibility Criteria  

The Indian Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Board conducts different entrance tests for the various level posts. It is must for all candidates to satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria as prescribed by the board for the exam in which they are going to appear. Below, candidates can find the IBPS Eligibility criteria in general.

Basic criteria

  • Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
  • He must have completed the graduation from any recognized institute/university in any stream.
  • The age limit of the candidates must be between 18 years and 28 years.
  • Candidates, who belong to the reserved category, will be eligible to get the relaxation in the upper age limit which will as per the government rules.

IBPS Recruitment  Application Form

  • Candidates will have to fill and submit the IBPS application form through the official website of the IBPS.
  • They will have to fill all the details in the application form such as the name, age and the details of the educational qualification.
  • After filling all the details in the application form, candidates will have to attach the scanned copies of the recent passport size photo and the signature on the application form.
  • Moreover, candidates will have to pay the IBPS application fee before submitting the online application form.
  • The application fee can be paid thru the credit card, debit card or net banking through the online mode.
  • Apart from that, the application fee can also be paid through the offline mode i.e., bank challan or demand draft (which will be in the favour of IBPS payable at Delhi).

IBPS Exam Pattern  

The IBPS exam pattern for all entrance test will be varied from each other. The details of IBPS PO 2018 exam pattern are listed here.

IBPS bank PO examination is comprised of two stages i.e., Preliminary Exam and the Mains. Candidates can find the information about both the stages of the exam in the following points:

  • IBPS Exam is conducted through the online mode as it is a computer-based test which is conducted to recruit the able candidates for the of bank PO post.
  • Candidates, who qualify the written test, are invited to participate in the interview and GD tests.
  • The IBPS Exam will be of objective nature. There will be questions in the question paper having multiple options of answers.

IBPS Interview/Group Discussion  

  • Candidates, who qualify the written test, will be required to qualify the interview and group discussion test as well to get the final selection.
  • The interview board will judge the personality traits and the communication skill of the candidates.
  • Candidates need to show their communication skill and the banking skills in the interview to convince them that they are able candidates for the post of Bank PO and bank SO posts.
  • Candidates, who have applied for the post bank clerk, will not require appearing for the interview and group discussion.

IBPS Exam Syllabus  

The syllabus of IBPS recruitment exam will be varied from post to post. Here, candidates can find the IBPS Exam syllabus for the post of Probationary Officer.

  • The Preliminary stage will be comprised of the questions from the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.
  • Candidates will be required to attain minimum qualifying marks in the pre-examination and subsequently, they will get an invitation to take part in the main examination.

IBPS Admit Card  

  • After the submission of the IBPS application form, the IBPS will issue the IBPS Admit Card to all the candidates who have successfully registered thru the official website of IBPS.
  • Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of IBPS.
  • Candidates need to take the printout of the admit card and will be required to bring the same to the exam center to ensure their entry into the exam hall.
  • The IBPS admit card shall have all the necessary details such as the name of the candidates, timing and time duration of the question paper and date and venue of the IBPS exam.

IBPS Result  

    • Through the official website of the Indian Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), candidates can check the result of the IBPS Exam 2018. Candidates can download the result card from the official website.
    • IBPS will announce the final result of the selection process after the commencement of the GD and interview.
  • Candidates can check the result of the IBPS exam by providing their registration number /roll number and date of birth.
