The first step of the selection procedure is a written test which is most likely to be held in April 2024 (CDS 1) and September 2024 (CDS 2).  Candidates who are appearing in the exam for IMA, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy they need to give three written subjects namely English, Mathematics and General Knowledge, whereas those are appearing for Officers Training Academy they only need to appear for General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics.

Personality Test/Personal Interview

Personality test/Personal Interview is conducted by panel judges to shortlist candidates from the written exam. The test is organized just to check out the verbal and non-verbal intelligence of candidates. Group Activity, Group Discussion etc may be conducted by the concerned authority.

Verification of Documents

After completion of the second step of the selection procedure candidates will be shortlisted for document verification procedure. List of documents which will be verified is Graduation, HSC, SSC degree, birth certificate, passport size photograph, residence proof, cast certificate, identity proof etc.

Medical Test

This is the last step of selection procedure where candidates will be tested that they are medically fit or not. Final merit list will be prepared after completion of final step.
