Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy prescribed eligibility criteria for BHEL Recruitment through GATE. The details of eligibility criteria are listed below:

Nationality

• Only Indian citizens can apply.

Age limit

• The upper age limit is 27 Years (Candidates born before September 1, 1991 is not eligible to apply) and 29 years for the candidates having 2 years’ full-time Post Graduate degree in Engineering or Business Management / Administration.
• There is also relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates belonging to reserved category.

Educational qualification

• Aspirants must have a full-time bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology; Or,
• Candidates having a Degree of 5- years Integrated Master’s Course can also apply; Or,
• Applicants having a dual degree in Engineering or Technology program in the disciplines of Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronic or Metallurgical Engineering from any recognized Indian University/ Institute are also eligible to apply.

The interested and eligible candidates need to fill the online application form in order to apply BHEL recruitment through GATE score. The availability of application form for BHEL recruitment through GATE will commence in the month of January 2019 (tentatively). Stage 1: Application form filling

Stage 2: Upload scanned images of Photo, Signature and other documents

Now, candidates should upload their photograph, signature (same as the GATE Application Form) and other necessary documents in the prescribed size and format.

Stage 3: Fee Payment

For the successful application submission, candidates have to pay Rs.300/- as a necessary fee. The application fee for BHEL Recruitment through GATE will be applicable to candidates from General and OBC (NCL) category only. There is no fee for candidates belonging to ST/SC/PWD/EXSM category. Candidates can make the payment through online mode only by using Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card etc payment gateways. Once the fee is deposited successfully, the submission of BHEL Recruitment application form will be considered as complete.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted for BHEL Recruitment through GATE on the basis of their GATE Scores. The organization will invite the shortlisted candidates for the further round of Personal Interview as per the cutoff put onwards by the PSU. Applicants, who qualify the interview, will be considered eligible for final selection in BHEL Recruitment through GATE 2019.
