Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) Application Form 2022

  • The application form will be available online on the official website of PPSC which is ‘ppsc.gov.in’.
  • Candidates will provide all the details in the application form.
  • After filling the application form, candidates need to take the printout of the application form.
  • Applicants can send the application form attached with the given documents here.

There are some documents which every applicant will submit the application form:

  1. Proof of Date of Birth Certificate of Matriculation/Higher Secondary.
  2. Proof of having passed the Punjabi
  3. Degree Certificate.
  4. Detail Marks Card of all years/ Semesters.
  5. Reserve Category Certificate issued by the Competent Authority(If Applicable)
  6. Proof of being Govt. Employee. ( If Applicable)
  7. If ESM. (Date of enrolment and Date of release/discharge)
  8. Certificate as proof of age relaxation claim. (If Applicable)
  9. Bank Draft.

PCS (Judicial) Exam Fee

The candidates are required to pay the examination fee as given in the table below:

Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate can be a Citizen of India or A citizen of Nepal or A subject of Bhutan.
  • Candidates must have completed the bachelor level degree in law from a recognized institute.
  • The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 37 years.
  • The upper age limit for a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab only shall be up to 42 years.
  • Upper age is also relaxable up to 42 years for Widows, Divorcees and certain other categories of Women.
  • Physically Handicapped Persons who have domicile of Punjab will be eligible to apply for the examination till the age of 47 years.

Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) Exam Pattern

There will be three stages of the Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) and the details of all the examination have been given in the below points and tables.

Stage 1 – Preliminary Exam:

The Preliminary Examination shall be of objective type with multiple-choice questions as given below:

  • For wrong answer 0.20% i.e. 1/5th marks shall be deducted.
  • No candidate shall be allowed to appear in the Main Examination unless he/she secured minimum 150 marks (100 marks for all reserved category candidates) in the Preliminary Examination.
  • The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination shall not be counted towards the final
  • A candidate who qualifies for the Main Examination will have to apply again on separate application form for Main Examination. The qualified candidates will have to obtain Application Form for the Main Examination from the Commission’s office on any working day.

Stage 2 – Main Exam

The Main Examination shall consist of five papers. The description of papers and the syllabus shall be as under:

Comprehension – 25 Marks

V Language Hindi (in Devnagri Script) 150 Marks 3 Hrs.
VI Viva-Voce To judge the personal qualities of the candidates. The viva-voce shall relate to the matters of general interest and is intended to test the candidates’ alertness, intelligence, and general outlook. It shall be conducted in English.
  • Main Examination will be the subjective/narrative Main Examination will be conducted in English Medium except for language paper.
  • The standard of the language paper shall be that of Matriculation Examination of the Board of School Education, Haryana.
  • No candidate shall be called for the viva- voice unless he obtains at least 50% percent qualifying marks in the aggregate of all the written papers.
  • However, for the candidate belonging to the scheduled Caste and Backward Classes the qualifying marks for this purpose shall be 45%.

 Stage 3 – Viva-Voce

  • The Viva-Voce shall carry 100 marks and the final result shall be prepared on the basis of the grand Total of the marks obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination and the Viva-Voce.
  • No candidate shall be called for the Viva-Voce unless he obtains at least 50% qualifying marks in the aggregate of all the written papers and qualifies in language paper Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script).
  • The candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes of Punjab and Backward Classes of Punjab shall be called for the Viva-Voce test if they obtain 45% qualifying marks in the aggregate of all written papers and qualify in Language Paper Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script).

Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) Exam Admit Card 2022

  • The admit card will be published on the official website of PPSC after the submission of the application form.
  • There will be separate admit cards for every stage of the examination.
  • Candidates can download the admit card and take the printout of the same to take that with them at the exam centre.

 Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) Exam Result 2022

  • The commission will announce the result of the respective examination on the official website.
  • The result will be declared after the completion of every step of the selection process and the selected or shortlisted candidates will be sent to the next level of examination.
  • The final result of the examination will be announced after the commencement of the Viva-Voce (Interview).
