IRDA Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria depend upon the post for which you are looking to apply. Still, you can check the eligibility criteria for the Assistant manager post as given below.

IRDA Exam Age Limit

  • The age of a candidate for the post of Assistant manager should be more than 21 years.
  • Plus, the upper age of a candidate should not be more than 30 years. Candidates from the following reserved categories will get relaxations as per the rules.
    • Scheduled caste (SC)/ Scheduled tribe (ST) – 5 years
    • OBC category – 3 years
    • PwD candidates – 10 years

Educational Qualification 

  • Candidates must have completed graduation (should have a bachelor’s degree) with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university.

IRDA Exam 2022 Application Form 

The application form for IRDA will be released in online mode. Those interested candidates who are looking to apply must make sure that eligibility. To access the application form, aspirants have to visit the official website. The complete process of application form submission is explained below.

  • First of all, candidates have to register by entering their basic details like Name, email address, phone number, etc.
  • After registration, candidates will be able to sign-in in order to access the main application form.
  • In order to sign-in, aspirants have to provide their login credentials generated during registration.
  • Then, in the next step, candidates have to fill their complete educational, personal, and contact details in the application form.
  • Along with the details, aspirants have to upload scanned images of the passport size photograph, and signature.
  • At the time of submitting the application form, candidates must pay the necessary application fee.
  • The details entered in the application form must be authentic. Otherwise, the application form can get rejected.

Application Fees

  • All other categories – Rs. 650/-

Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid online using methods like a credit card/ debit card or internet banking.

IRDA 2022 Admit Card

  • IRDA will upload admit cards for all candidates online through its official website.
  • To download an admit card, candidates have to provide their application number and other registration details.
  • The details such as date, time, and venue of the examination will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • Along with the admit card, candidates must also bring one photo identity proof such as Passport/ Aadhar/ E-Aadhar/ PAN Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/ Identity Card issued by School or college/ Gazetted Officer in the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof.
  • Ration cards will not be accepted as valid ID proof at the examination center.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card or photo ID proof.
  • It is recommended that candidates should keep a copy of the admit card safe even after the exam for future references.

Exam Pattern/ Selection Process

The IRDA Selection Process 2022 involves the following three stages.

  • Phase – I Online preliminary examination
  • Phase – II Descriptive examination.
  • Phase – III Interview

IRDA Exam 2022 Result

  • The result of the IRDA examination will be released online through the official website of IRDA.
  • In order to check the result, aspirants have to provide their roll number and other registration details.

  • Latest disability certificate in the prescribed format (If applicable)
  • Candidates serving in Government / Quasi Govt. offices / Public Sector Undertakings (including Nationalized Banks, Insurance Companies and Financial Institutions) are required to produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of Interview
