Steps to check the Kerala SET Result 2021

Follow the steps given below to check the result of Kerala SET exam:

  • Go to the official website of LBS, lbskerala.com.
  • Click on the result download link for the SET exam you have appeared for.
  • A new page will open. Enter your roll number and click on ‘submit’.
  • Your result will appear on the screen.
  • Download the result, take its printout and keep it safe for future reference.

How to recover lost Kerala SET roll number?

Roll number is necessary for checking the result of the Kerala SET exam. In case the candidates lost their roll number, they can retrieve it by clicking on the ‘forgot roll number?’ link. The candidates will have to provide details of the subject opted for SET, district opted for SET and date of birth to obtain their roll number.

Exclusion of question(s) from evaluation

  • The Director, LBS Centre is authorized to exclude any question or questions from evaluation in case the questions is found to be wrong or there are no appropriate answer to that question, as recommended by the panel of experts.
  • In case a question(s) is/ are excluded from evaluation, the mark(s) allotted to that question(s) will also be excluded from evaluation.
  • The marks as mentioned in the SET result will be after excluding the mark allotted to that question, even if the candidate had attempted that question.

Document Verification

The candidates who are declared as qualified in their Kerala SET Result 2021 will have to attend the document verification. Such candidates must send the following certificates by post to the Director, LBS Centre, Nandavanam, Thiruvananthapuram for verification.

  • A hard copy of the filled-in application form for SET Certificate downloaded from the official website of the LBS Centre
  • Copies of the following documents attested by a Gazetted Officer:
    • Provisional/ Original Certificate and Mark list of PG Degree
    • Provisional/ Original Certificate of B.Ed Degree
  • Recognition and Equivalency Certificate from any one of the Universities in Kerala, if applicable
  • Equivalency Certificate from any one of the Universities in Kerala, in the case of candidates possessing qualifications in subjects other than those mentioned in the list of specified subjects
  • Original of the Caste/ Category certificate issued in the name of the candidate. Those who have already produced original document need not attach the same.
  • A self-addressed A4 Size cloth-lined envelope with postal stamp worth Rs. 40/- affixed on it.

Issue of Certificate

  • Candidates who get their documents verified within a period of one year from the declaration of the results will be included in the list of qualified candidates.
  • The candidates whose names are included in this list will be receiving the eligibility certificate signed by the Director of Higher Secondary Education.
  • Those who fail to get their documents verified within one year period will have to pay a late fee of Rs. 500/- for the next one year and an additional amount of Rs. 250/- for each subsequent year, thereafter to obtain the eligibility certificate.

Issue of Duplicate Certificate

  • If the candidate loses the original Certificate issued to him/ her, such candidate can claim for a Duplicate Certificate.
  • The application for the same should be made to the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology on payment of the fee of Rs. 1000/-.
  • The payment of fee can be done through a demand draft drawn from a nationalized bank in favor of the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
  • Candidate will also have to submit an affidavit in stamp paper of Rs. 100/- to the effect that the SET Certificate issued to him/ her has been irrecoverably lost, duly certified by a Notary Public/ First Class Judicial Magistrate.

Points to keep in mind

  • Canvassing or use of any unfair means inside the exam hall can lead to cancellation of candidature. Result of such candidates will not be declared.
  • Results of the test shall be prepared based on the details furnished by the candidates in their online application.
  • There will be no provision for revaluation or rechecking of the answer scripts or recounting of the marks scored.
  • Certificates will only be issued to the candidates who declared as successful in the test and whose certificates are verified successfully.
  • The candidates can get a photocopy of the OMR Answer Sheet by making a payment of Rs. 500/- per paper.
  • Application for providing photocopy should be made within a period of one month from the date of result announcement. Late applications will not be considered.
