Civil Services (Prelims) Admit Card 2021- IAS Admit Card

After, the IAS Application forms are submitted by the candidates online, they are issued the admit card which authorizes them to appear in the IAS preliminary examination. All the applicants, who have successfully submitted their IAS online applications 2021, will be issued the IAS Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination.

Different Admit Cards for IAS Preliminary Exam and IAS Mains Exam 2021

Applicants will be issued different admit cards for the IAS Examination. Applicants will be issued the admit card for the preliminary examination and those who qualify the preliminary examination will be allowed to fill the detailed application form IAS Main examination.

After Filling the detailed application form for the IAS Main Examination they will be issued admit card in the month of November three weeks ago the commencement of IAS Main examination in the month of December.

How can applicants download the IAS Admit Card 2021?

  • Candidates, who have applied for the IAS examination will be issued e-admit card.
  • The e-admit card will be available online on the official website of UPSC that is ‘www.upsc.nic.in’.
  • Candidates need to make the submission of their registration number and their date of birth and then they will be provided the link to download their IAS Admit card.
  • Candidates are advised to save the soft copy of the IAS admit card in their computer and take the printout as well.

What Information would the IAS Admit Card be containing?

Candidates’ admit card are not sent to their email ID, the IAS Admit Card 2021 will be issued on the official website of UPSC from where all the applicants can download their admit card by providing their registration number and date of birth which was generated by the system at the time of online of IAS registration.

  • Name, photo and Date of Birth

IAS Admit Card 2021 will contain applicants’ name, their photo and their date of birth. If the applicant finds any irregularity in their name, photo or their date of birth, they are advised to contact UPSC to get new corrected Admit Card.

  • Applicants’ Roll Number, Exam Date, and Examination Centre

The IAS Admit Card shall contain applicants’ roll number, date of examination and the centre of the examination. All the candidates are advised to reach at the examination centre before the entry time with their IAS Admit Card issued by UPSC.

  • Instructions for the Examination

Applicants will also be provided the precise instructions for the IAS Examination. Candidates need to follow all the provided instructions and if they don’t do so, they may be disqualified from the examination.

Applicant should keep the printout of the IAS admit card after they download it from the official site of UPSC and save the soft copy of their admit card in case of any contingency.

Admit card is the crucial document issued by UPSC without which no candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall. It is recommended to all the candidates to have their IAS admit card with them before they proceed their way to the IAS examination venue. After downloading the admit card, you need to concentrate on the exam pattern. It will give you an overall idea about what are going to be asked in the exam.
