The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research conducts CSIR NET twice a year for recruitment of eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Lecturers respectively. Before proceeding for the application form, candidates are encouraged to check their eligibility status for the exam. CSIR NET application form – Highlights
- Aspirants can only fill the form in online mode by visiting the official website.
- Aspirants are advised to fill the form early to avoid the last-minute rush.
- Applicant should submit the form within 40 minutes after filling it; otherwise, their session will expire.
- The scanned images (Photograph & Signature) should not exceed 150 KB.
- The scanned images should either be in JPG or in JPEG format.
- Candidates will need to upload their respective qualifying Degree or last semester Marksheet and relevant category certificates (if any) in PDF format only. The size of the file must not exceed 400KB.
- Signatures done in Capital letters will not be accepted.
- Applicants must have an active email ID and phone number for future contacts.
- Applicants must preserve the application number generated after successful submission of the form.
- Applicants must avoid submitting multiple applications as they all will be rejected by the concerned authorities.

- Keep a printout of the form for future references.
