Eligibility Criteria for BSNL JE Recruitment 2022
A candidate has to fulfill following set of eligibility conditions to become eligible for participating in the BSNL Junior Engineer recruitment 2022 procedure:
Nationality Criteria
An Indian national is only permitted to apply for JE post.
Age Criteria
The age of candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 30 years as on the last date for receiving of online application form. Relaxations in the upper age limit would be provided in following way:
- SC/ST- 5 years;
- OBC- 3 years;
- SC/ST-PWD- 10 years;
- OBC-PWD- 8 years;
- OC-PWD- 10 years;
- BSNL employees- 5 years;
- Ex-servicemen- As per the Central Govt. norms;
- J & K residents- Relaxation shall be applicable in accordance with DOP&T’s Notification No.15012/7/1991-Estt. (D) dated 07/12/2007 pertaining to “Residents of State of Jammu & Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central Civil Services & Posts) Rules 1997”.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should hold a recognized three years Engineering Diploma/BTech/BE either in Telecommunications, Electronic, Electrical, Computer, Radio, Instrumentation or Information technology. Or,
- A recognized B.Sc (Computer Science) or B.Sc (Electronics);
- A recognized M.Sc (Electronics);
How to Apply for BSNL JE Recruitment 2022?
Candidates will be eligible to apply for the JE posts through the official website of BSNL i.e. www.externalexam.bsnl.co.in. It is most probable that the online application form will be accessible in between July to August 2022. Please keep an active email ID and Mobile number with you before you apply for the exam.
Application Fee
Candidates of OC/OBC category have to make the payment of Rs.1000/-, whereas, this amount is Rs.500/- for SC/ST category candidates. The amount can be paid by using the credit card/debit card/internet banking.
Selection Procedure
Candidates would be selected based on their overall performance in All India Online Competitive Examination. There will be a single question paper having objective type multiple choice questions. The mode of the examination is online mode. Negative marking rule will be applicable in the exam. Please go through the exam pattern mentioned below:
