Arunachal Pradesh Civil Services Eligibility Criteria 2022: Age & Educational requirements

It is must for all candidates to satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The authority has set some educational and age criteria for all the offered posts which candidate have to fulfill in order to appear for the exam. If the aspirant fails to fulfill any of the eligibility criteria as specified for the post for which he/she is applying then they will not be allowed to appear in the exam or recruitment process. Candidates can check the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission’s (APPSC) Group – I exam eligibility criteria for the posts below.

02 Commercial Tax Officers in A.P. Commercial Taxes Service. Should be between 18 – 42 years
03 District Registrar in A.P. Registration and Stamps Service Between 18 – 42 Years
04 Deputy Supdt. of Police (Civil) Cat-2 in A.P. Police Service Between 21 – 30 Years
05 Assistant Prohibition & Excise Superintendent in A.P. Prohibition & Excise Service Between 18 – 28 Years
06 District B.C. Welfare Officer in B.C. Welfare Service Between 18 – 42 Years
07 Municipal Commissioner Grade-II in A.P. Municipal Administration Service Between 18 – 42 Years
08 Assistant Commissioner of Labour in A.P Labour Service. Between 18 – 42 Years

 Age relaxation

There will be also age relaxation given to the candidates belonging to reserved category. Below, you can check the Upper age limit relaxations for all reserved categories.

SC/ST and BCs 5 years
Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates 10 years
Ex-Servicemen 3 years
N.C.C (worked as Instructor in N.C.C) 3 years
A.P. State Government Employees 5 years
Retrenched temporary employees in the State Census Department (with at least service of 6 months) 3 years

Educational qualification:

The required educational criteria for the post -code 01 to 08 are as following:

Candidates must have done a bachelor’s degree from any recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, a State Act or an Institution recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.

For Post Code Number 8: Preference will be given to those who have in addition to any of the following qualifications “A P.G. Degree in Social Work with specialization in Industrial Labour Relations /Labour Welfare and Personnel Management or Post Graduate Degree in Law (or) from a recognized University or Institution”
