APPSC Exam will be organized into following three stages:
1) Preliminary Examination (Objective paper)
2) Main’s Examination (Conventional Type)
3) Interview/Oral Test
Preliminary Examination:
It is a screening test organized to shortlist the applicants for the next stage of examination. The examination will consist of one objective type paper. The details of Preliminary Examination along with subjects, maximum marks, time duration are given below:

Main Examination:
The Main examination will include five papers in conventional type. All the question papers except General English may be answered either in English or Telugu or Urdu selected by the candidate. The details of AP Civil services Mains exam pattern are given below:

Interview/Oral Test
Those, who successfully cleared the main examination, will be further invited to appear in the Main exam which carries 75 marks. The final selection of the candidate will be truly made on the basis of the combined score obtained in Written Examination, and Oral Test.
