What is UP Lekhpal?
UP Lekhpal is a clerical vacancy in UPSSSC and the job of a Lekhpal is to report details to the revenue officer, maintain the village revenue accounts and records, inspection of fields, report revisions related to mutations and partitions, to revise official maps, conduct surveys, and offer help during natural disasters and agricultural distress.

The minimum age limit to apply for the exam is 18 years.

UP Lehpal 2024 Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on the PET exam (prelims exam) and Mains exam conducted by UPSSSC. Candidates first have to appear in the PET exam, then the qualified candidates will have to appear for the UP Lekpal mains exam.
Interested and eligible applicants who have applied for the UP Lekhpal mains exam must have cleared 12th -level exam from a government-certified board.
UP Lekhpal Admit Card
The authority will release the admit card for the Prelims and Mains exam separately. The admit card for the mains exam will be released for those candidates who qualified for the prelim exam. The admit card will be released online only.
Candidates can download the UP Lekhpal hall ticket from the official site by providing their login details such as registration number and date of birth. The admit card will include important details related to the exam such as the name of the candidate, roll number, date and time of the exam, venue, reporting time, etc.
It is an important document to carry at the examination centre. The authority will not allow any candidate to appear in the exam without a valid admit card.
