UBI SO Eligibility Criteria 2022: Union bank of India issues the official notification to select candidates for various posts such as Credit Officer, Chartered Accountant, Statistician, Information Security Officer, Manager (Risk), Assistant Manager (Risk), Security Officer.
Candidates, who want to build their career in the banking sector, can apply for all the above mentioned posts. Before they apply for the mentioned posts, they must ensure that they are eligible enough to apply for the posts under Specialist Officers.
Citizenship / Nationality of the Candidates
Candidates, who aspire to apply for the post of UBI SO:
(I) must be citizen of India
(ii) must be subject of Nepal or
(iii) must be subject of Bhutan or
(iv) Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 to be settled permanently in India
(v) a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Age Limitation
- Candidates must be between 21 years and 30 years to be eligible to apply for the UBI SO Exam. It may vary for some of the posts as mentioned in the above table.
- All the aspiring candidates who want to register for the UBI SO Exam must have their age between 02/06/1987 and 01/06/1996. (‘Both days included’). It may vary for some of the posts.
- Candidates, who belong to the reserved category, will be offered legitimate relaxation in their upper age as per the rules set by the Parliament or by the conductor of the examination.

- Candidates, who wish to apply for the post of UBI Specialist Officer, mandatorily needs to have their age as per the criteria mentioned above.
- Those, who come from such caste category, which is reserved under the law made by the Indian Parliament, shall be provided age relaxation.
