Maharashtra SET Application Form 2022

The Savitribai Phule Pune University will conduct the Maharashtra SET exam to select the candidates for the post of Assistant Professor. The candidates looking to apply for this exam need to fill and submit the Maharashtra SET application Form 2022 before the given deadline. The application form will be available only in online mode. The aspirant should check the eligibility criteria before submitting the application form as the application fee once submitted will not be refunded.

How to apply for Maharashtra SET Exam 2022?

It is recommended that the candidates should fill and submit the application form well before the last date to avoid a last-minute rush. The application form will be available in online mode through the official website i.e. setexam.unipune.ac.in. The steps to fill the application form are as follows:

Step – 1: Registration

• In order to register, the candidates need to visit the official website.
• Click on “Apply Now” link available on the homepage.
• Then click on “click here if you are New User” link.
• Enter the required personal details such as Name, Date of birth, Email Id etc.
• After submitting the registration form, the username & password will be sent to your registered email id.

Note: Your registered Email id will be your username.

Step – 2: Fill Application Form

• Once registered, the candidates need to login using the username and password.
• After login, the candidates have to enter all the necessary details such as educational qualification, marks scored, address of correspondence, permanent address, Category etc.
• Along with the educational and personal details, the candidates have to fill the Center of examination correctly.
• The tentative exam centers for the MH-SET exam are as follows: Pune, Mumbai, Solapur, Kolhapur, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Jalgaon, Dhule, Nanded, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Amravati, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur & Panji (Goa).
• As soon as you submit the details, a unique application number will be generated. You should note down this number.

Step – 4: Uploading the scanned Images

• After entering the details, the applicants should upload the scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature.

Step – 5: Payment of Application Fee

• Once you are done with entering the details and uploading the scanned images, you can move on to pay the application fee.
• The application fee and mode of payment are given in this post below. Please note that the application fee once submitted will not be refunded.

Step – 6: Taking the Printouts

• Finally, you can take the printout of the submitted application form.
• The printout of the application will be of 2 pages. One page will be of the application form and the second page will be of online payment transaction details.

Note: There is no need to send the printout of the application form to the university.

Application Fee

The application fees for different categories are given below:

General Candidates: Rs. 550/-

OBC/ PH/ SC/ ST/ VH/ SBC/ DT (A)/ NT (B)/ NT(C)/ NT (D) candidate: Rs. 450/-

Note: Here NT means Nomadic Tribes.

Mode of Payment

• The application fee will be paid via online mode using a Credit/ Debit Card or Net Banking.

MH SET Application Form 2022 Correction Window

• The university will provide the facility of the correction window to correct the mistakes in the submitted application form.
• The candidate needs to login to the portal using the username and password in order to correct the application form.
• No request for correction in the application form will be accepted after the closure of correction window.

Important Points to Remember

The candidates should remember the following points while applying for the Maharashtra SET Examination.
