Kerala SET Application Form 2021

The candidates will be able to fill their Kerala SET application form 2021 in online mode. However, submission of the application forms will be both in online and offline mode. Interested candidates who also meet the Kerala SET eligibility criteria 2021 can submit their application form as per the given schedule. Only the applications received by the LBS center before the last date of receipt will be considered for further processing. Steps to fill Kerala SET Application Form 2021

The interested candidates will be able to fill their application form by visiting the official website lbscentre.org or lbskerala.com. Candidates will first have to make application fee payment and after that they can proceed towards filling the application. The step by step process to fill the application form is given in detail below.

Step 1: Payment of application fee

Candidates who wish to register themselves for the Kerala SET will first have to submit the application fee in advance.

The fee for the test can be remitted in certain selected office or branch of a service provider.

Those who successfully submit the application fee will receive site access key and an application number.

Candidates residing outside the Kerala state can request for site access key and application number by post.

In such cases, payment of fee shall be only through demand draft drawn from any one of the nationalized banks in India in favor of the Director, LBS Centre for Science & Technology, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

The demand draft and a self-addressed envelope of size 31 cm X 25 cm, should reach the office of the Director, LBS Centre at least 10 days before the closing date for registration.

Step 2: Uploading of photograph

Click on the ‘online registration’ link on the official website of the SET. You will be asked to provide your site access key and application number. Submit these details very carefully. After this, you will be prompted to upload your photograph in jpg format. The photograph should be of 200 pixels height, 150 pixels width and should not exceed file size 30 kb.

Photographs should have been taken within one year from the date on which application is sent. Photographs should be without cap or goggles (except those worn in adherence to religious custom).

The face and shoulder of the candidate should be clear and the background should be white/ light-colored. Face should be centrally focused and be at the center of the photograph. The eyes should be open and vivid.

Photographs showing a portion of the face, unclear face or photograph wearing uniform shall not be used. The light-colored dress should be used in the photographs.

Step 3: Filling of application form

After successful uploading of the photograph, the candidates will be able to fill their application form.

In the application form, the candidates will be asked to provide their basic personal details, educational details, etc.

Once all the details are submitted correctly, click on the ‘submit’ button to submit the application form online.

Click on the ‘print’ button to take a printout of the duly filled application form for sending to the LBS center.

A printout should also be taken to be kept safe with the candidates in case of future reference.

Step 4: Submission of application form

The printout of the application form duly signed by the candidates should be sent to the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Extra Police Road, Nandavanam, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram 695033.

Submission of the hard copy of the application form can be done either through registered post or in person.

The application form should be sent so as to reach the LBS center on or before the last specified date.

SC/ ST/ VH/ PH candidates are required to enclose a self-attested copy of their community certificate/ disability certificate along with their application.

OBC Non-creamy layer candidates are required to submit a self-attested copy of their non-creamy layer certificate valid on the date of application.

Points to keep in mind

  • Name of the candidate in the application form should be filled in exactly as given in the SSLC book.
  • The printout of the online application form should be sent in the envelope supplied.
  • The applications will not be accepted in the regional units or sub-centers of the LBS Centre.
  • LBS Centre will not be responsible for loss of applications or any enclosed documents, if any, which are sent to it.
  • The site access key and an application number must be kept safe by the candidates as they will be required at further stages too.
