ISRO Scientists/Engineers Recruitment Department of Space, Government of India, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), ICRB (ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board), is going to publish the notification regarding the recruitment of ISRO Scientist / Engineer posts  soon. The official recruitment schedule hasn’t been announced by the officials yet. However, it is expected that the ISRO Recruitment  online application process will be commenced in the month of September  and the entrance test for the same will be held on December  . ISRO Scientists/Engineers Recruitment 

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will offer the post of Scientist/Engineer `SC’ in Level 10 of Pay Matrix to the graduate candidates in the following specializations:-

  1. Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Electronics)
  2. Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Mechanical)
  3. Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Computer Science)

Eligibility Criteria

It is must for all candidates to satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria as set by ISRO for the said positions before applying for the entrance test. The details of ISRO Recruitment eligibility criteria for the post of Scientist/ Engineer (SC) are mentioned below:

Educational requirements

Aspirants should have completed BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 65% aggregate marks or at least 6.84 CGPA on the scale of 10.

Age limit

The maximum age of the candidates should not exceed than 35 years. There will be relaxation given in upper age limit for candidates belonging to PWD, Ex-serviceman, and other reserved categories as per the government norms.

ISRO Scientists/Engineers Recruitment  Application Form: How to apply?

The ISRO Recruitment application form will be available on the official website of ISRO probably from September – October . The application form of ISRO Scientists/Engineers Recruitment will be received online only. No other offline mode will be entertained by the officials. To register online, candidates need to visit the official website at www.isro.gov.in and fill the required details accordingly. Candidates are advised to check the necessary eligibility criteria before starting the online registration process. After the successful completion of online registration, a unique registration number will be provided to the candidate. Preserve this registration number for future reference. The application form has to be always followed-up with a `No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, by those already in employment under Public Sector Undertakings, Central/State Government, or Autonomous Bodies, duly representative the name and Registration Number on the reverse.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay Rs 100/- as necessary application fee. The payment can be made ‘online’ using Debit Card/ Internet Banking or ‘Offline’ by visiting nearby SBI Branch.

ISRO Scientist/Engineer Recruitment syllabus details

Admit card

Candidates who applied successfully for the entrance test can obtain the admit card from the official website a few days before the exam date. Candidates need to provide their unique registration/application number in order to download the ISRO recruitment exam hall ticket.

Result

After successful completion of the written test, candidates will able to check their ISRO Scientist/ Engineer Result online from the official website. The actual date of ISRO Scientist Exam Result hasn’t released yet.

Selection Process

Selection will be done on the basis of performance in Written Test and Interview. Based on the academic performance and bio-data of candidates an initial screening will be held to short-list applicants for the taking-up written entrance test.
